Epic exploration and adventure await you!

Welcome to my first modpack. This grew out of a desire to fashion a pack around some of my favorite mods, while avoiding the usual tech builds. It was also an opportunity for me to learn about Minecraft modding, which has led to some interesting changes for this modpack which I hope you enjoy.

The main goal of the pack is to establish a thriving colony, powered by Create factories, and to build a zoo/aquarium for your villagers to visit. Backed by a few staples like Powah and Refined Storage, you'll be able to set up a good infrastructure to organize and provide resources.

You have options for resource generation, between using a combination of Mystical Agriculture (for mobs/natural resources) and Productive Bees (for metals and gems), or doing quarrying in the Mining DImension. Pay close attention to JEI, as there have been many changes to your normal recipes, no more grindy bee breeding, you can craft spawn eggs for most of them using Ars Nouveau enchanting. No squishing bees to extract their DNA, you can enchant your way to perfection!

Ars Nouveau and Irons Spells 'n Spellbooks bring high magic and provide new mechanics for working with other mods. Apotheosis, Artifacts and Relics means you'll be finding lots of amazing items to make you into the god-tier player you should be.

Endless dungeons await your exploration. While your resources slowly stock up, you need to be out in the wild, collecting rare resources to grow ever more powerful. From Alex's Caves to Wesleys Roguelike Dungeons, or threats on the high seas from When Dungeons Arise, you will find many dungeons to loot and bosses to end. Artifacts and Relics await your greedy fingers.

The path to the end is made more difficult, you'll need to find the lost and scattered eyes of ender to fill the portal, once through you'll face a more powerful Ender Dragon than usual. If only you could bring your own dragon to help!

Overall the goal is to reduce needless grind, while still providing a challenge. A lot of time has been spent building out questlines to help guide you through the mods you might not be familiar with and as a big fan of good quest rewards, you can expect to get some in this pack as you work through the quests.

Speaking of quests, you'll find many questlines to guide you through the major mods. From setting up a strong enchantment setup to farming mobs with Ars Nouveau, I take you through those complex processes in a step by step way, with lots of awards at each step.

Tired of complex and tedious crafting recipes for your end game creative win condition?

In this pack you'll earn Rongolian Tokens for completing epic achievements, completing dangeous quests, or simply by cooking some amazing meals. At the end you'll unlock creative items without the need for complex and onerous crafting mechanics. Exchange the Rongolian Tokens for the creative item you want and just enjoy!

I need your help!

There is a chapter in the quests called Colony Challenges. I'm looking for fun ideas for challenges for folks to do within the constraints of the pack. These will be geared around the Colony itself, from automating meal prep with Create and delivering it into storage through entangled blocks, to building a super-duper cool zoo. If you have ideas, either leave a comment or submit it as an issue with the "Challenges" tag.

The format would be:

Title: Build a Zoo

Basic Outline: showcase 20+ animals with personalized enclosures. Add paths, lighting and decor to make it look great.

Reward: "Good" tier reward, or 20XP level, you tell me!

This project is now in beta stage, though the mod list should be finalized at this point (barring some potential removals) and world generation will stay as is. Any additional changes will be with more quests and recipe changes as needed.
