Revers: Continuum Turbulence is the harder version of Reverse Collapse for those who wanted an extra challenge and more options. The world type is forced to a shattered chunks world and the difficulty of most mobs is dramatically increased along with dragons roaming the floating isles.
In Continuum Turbulence, there's no shortage of things to do. You can explore to your heart's content until you die, build an epic™️ base until you die, create machines until they blow up in your face and you die, dabble in magic until you curse yourself to death, fight tough bosses until your demise, and more. Despite the challenges, this modpack was designed to not be beginner-friendly and have pretty hard difficulty. You will die. Bravo for completing this in hardcore. However, it is not an hardcore extreme modpack.
What sets Revers apart is its unique backstory, which tells the tragic tale of a failed experiment with magic and exploration that quickly turned into a bloodbath. You'll encounter many spooky evil gods that you can work for (and later betray) and much more which you can read about in the definitively not boring bullet point list down below.
Some of the most popular mods included are the Thermal Series, EnderIO, ThaumCraft, Botania, and Draconic Evolution and of course Ice and Fire. Additionally, we've included our unique mod called Reverscore that links everything together and provides some exciting and totally balanced items, similar to Hexxit Gear from Hexxit.
Story
It was an experiment gone wrong with your comrades. Magic had been severely undeveloped and it seemed like exploring a new dimension would have been useful. Naive you were to think that it would be a peaceful in and out deal. A myriad of powerful entities quickly overwhelmed your comrades and as more combatants from within your community poured in, more blood was spliled.
In the present, your armor is extremely battered. Nearly all of your resources have been exhausted. Can you take your revenge against the beings above you who have brought your downfall and reverse your collapse?
