The new enchanting system does things very differently - regular enchanted books can now spawn inside loot pools - yes that includes advanced enchants. They are no longer gated to just taking down bosses. But If you are unable to find it you can still kill those bosses for it to be a guaranteed drop.
Introducing the "grand enchanting table" which is basically the vanilla enchanting table but better and a way to soak levels into finding enchants. This enchanting table does not require bookshelves or lapis, it only eats your levels. Throw an item in and pick how many levels you are willing to spend. You can also get treasure enchants through this but this is an alternative way to get enchants. It is accessible early game. It is meant to be used alongside the disenchanting table late game, but a way to gamble early game with ur delicious levels. (I don't recommend spamming level 60 enchants) Next, the disenchanting table was brought back. they dont cost experience but they will break the item and only take the first enchant like dregora. Disenchanting table is late game requiring golden bookwyrm scales. Can either be crafted once you ender the undergarden or exploring void cathedrals in the end.. pick your poison and quark ancient tomes have been added, this can allow you to get 1 enchant higher than vanilla's max, but only for vanilla.. for example: Ancient tome of sharpness 5, sword with sharpness 5
use tome on sword > sharpness 6 but caps out there A lot of enchants & accessories got nerfed/buffed and accessories, not gonna list them all but they contribute to how strong you get in end game

Find out more by googling the mod Infernal mobs & brutal bosses: infernals now drop copper and silver equipment and extra exp brutal bosses spawn % lowered from 30 > 15 Existing worlds are gonna have to replace the datapacks by making a new world with the updated changes and then moving that over to the current world and replacing it, and default configs (for the Immersive enchanting changes)
