Expert Curios:

Reworked a few curios

Health Up:
Lowered use time of all items!
i think this should be everything
Eftann specially made a resource pack for RH!
We are still doing the modded containers but I quickly covered the big ones youll see the most, but it will get updated more.
Simply swords has been updated and implemented into the pack
Quest book:
Most chapters got a new fresh coat of paint and they are now way more guided than before. Also features the new progression path for the update.
Speaking of which @directorKW redid the bounties chapter, and lost cities chapter with a lot of new content. I just stitched in the rewards (massive w)
New chapter: Vinctus force (hidden)
Malice and mischief:
Big changes here, firstly most of the equipment in malice and mischief have a reduced level requirement now and the actual progression (the way the mod intended) is now more focused on, instead of just doing the bosses the moment you get to the otherworld. The armors have been buffed, and the bosses have been reworked for now until Koif revamps them.
Bosses can now be summoned in modded biomes (lumberguard and cactus brute)
Regions Unexplored got replaced by Oh the biomes we've gone, for the simpler reason that I found RU too cheerful, the biomes were not that difficult to scale and stuff .. it fits fantasy modpacks more so I went with OTBWG and I made sure it's working with most structures and events in the pack, and I definitely enjoy the overall vibe of it more than RU. OTBWG genuinely just gives the world a bit more vertical scale too.
Lost cities:
Macabre mobs now fill the lost cities, 2 macabre biomes are integrated into the undergarden
macabre mobs drop loot required for end game equipment (end game now starts with dark metal armor and up)
they are MUCH more difficult than the previous lost cities mobs, and would almost definitely require an ankh charm
The mobs are fast, deal high damage and are immune to slowness and some even Knockback.
they can inflict wither 5 for 80 ticks
minecraft:nausea 3 for 120 ticks
minecraft:hunger 6 for 150 ticks
minecraft:blindness for 80 ticks
minecraft:darkness for 150 ticks
chests were basically empty about 1 in 3 times, dropped that way down to 2% now
added iron's restrictions manuscripts to the rare loot pool and all the unique simply swords to the extremely rare pool for lost city/rail dungeon chests
Apothecary table:
Apothecary table has new custom recipes to accompany the new lost cities, it is now the main crafting station for end game recipes.
speaking of end game recipes, dark metal armor and onwards is officially gated to the undergarden.
The end:
The end is now FLOODED. Dangerous aquatic mobs spawn in here to punish players for not bringing a mount, or to reward those who actually invest time into using aquatic gear for this section of the pack. I have to give a warning tho, if you have a fear of deep oceans... Probably best to skip the dragon.
That said, the abyssal chasm from alex caves is fully integrated into the end now, alongside the leviathan's structure. I didn't like how lifeless the end was and decided to change it
True difficulty scale:
True difficulty scale is now completely reworked. First, iron spells are not gated to expert mode anymore, but new iron spell locking system
Casual: Permanent regen 1, take less damage and lower infernal mob spawn rates
Normal: The intended experience
Expert: Duration of negative effects are doubled, infernal spawn rates are higher than normal (Most bosses have an infernal modifier, but it does not mess with their base stat scaling)
Malicious: Duration of negative effects are doubled, infernal spawn rates are crazy high, your map and minimap is permanently disabled. (Most bosses have an infernal modifier, but it does not mess with their base stat scaling)
adding to this, entering the otherworld for the first time will make mobs a bit tougher by allowing them to use simply swords, increased rates for armor and move speed.
enchanting system:
Reworked materials for some enchants to fit all the new changes
fishing:
Fishing is overhauled with new rare loot drops you can obtain (secrets, go find them) and it also matters when you fish, like night time or during thunderstorms for other items.
Iron spells:
This section is subject to change, but iron spells now has rarity orbs you have to obtain before you can use spells of those rarity (like common - legendary)
And you also have to find the element manuscript to research each spell individually, but those are not that bad to get.
This was done since iron spells is now globally available to all difficulties, it now just takes a bit more to use it.
Mana regen has also been heavily nerfed, this is to encourage the use of mana potions for people that are not going with full on magic builds. Mage armors will be the most optimal instead of all classes sharing this
Scroll forge removed
Armor set bonuses:
Armor set bonuses got a proper system upgrade, the bonuses can now trigger actual simply swords runic powers and give a chance to buff yourself on hit, not just plain potion effects and attributes like before. Also fixed their gibberish tooltips
Golden armor now has golden osmosis
Amat: 5% to proc haste 2 or regen or strength 2 on hit
Then some armors got reworked to fit a ranged playstyle.. These armors nerf your attack damage (and when you draw back a bow or crossbow, you are nerfed in speed and vulnerable to damage) but buffs your ranged weaponary a ton:
Silver armor: -25% damage but Archery 2
Mutant skeleton: -20% damage but no cons to drawing and + 80% bow draw speed
Troll leather: -30% damage, archery 3, 30% bow speed draw and homing arrows
koifee equipment armors reworked and renamed to fit the macabre theme:
Verdant is now Macabre-Infused Summoner Armor, oak skin II, spore swarm bumped to level 5, evocation and banehead swarm from simply swords, chance to burst regen 4 for 2s on hit, +40% summon damage, immune to all macabre curses (hemorrhage, dread, macabre, carved, heavy, slashed). dropped the temp immunity and dancing blades
Grim is now Macabre-Infused Aggressor Armor, kept echoing strikes III, added dancing blades and runic slash, chance to burst strength 4 for 2s on hit, immune to all macabre curses. dropped morphine
Incendiary is now Macabre-Infused Flamewalker Armor, added trailblaze and wildfire, swapped the generic temp immunity for actual heat immunity, regen bumped to permanent level 2, chance to burst haste 4 on hit, +30% fire spell power. dropped flameborn strikes
Frostbitten is now Macabre-Infused Frostbound Armor, added slow, freeze and frost ward, swapped temp immunity for actual cold immunity, kept resistance 1 and added slowness 2 alongside it (tanky but slow), +30% ice spell power, immune to all macabre curses
Honored spartan is now Macabre-Infused ranger armor, +50% bow speed draw, random powerful elemental arrows (+ AoE damage on them) And a massive buff to arrow damage
Crimson Overlord got a full rework, flight is now actually permanent instead of randomly running out and dropping you, and it now carries every bonus from all 5 macabre infused armors above plus immunity to everything the macabre lost city mobs and the dread mobs (ice and fire) can inflict on you (wither, nausea, hunger, blindness, darkness, frozen, confusion, blazing brand)
Beetle armor from M&M, will now give immunity to most koifee mob and born in chaos mob debuffs, as well as bleeding and weakness
Deeplite armor from M&M is now the upgraded version of sea serpent armor, offering both buffs from sea serpent and deeplite.
+a bunch of other smaller armor set bonuses reworked to have some of these cool effects
Dragonforge:
The dragonforge is now required to craft end game gear alongside the apothecary table.
health up:
Health up usage time reduced by 50%
No more level requirement on every health item, recipes have been change to yield more (higher tiered healing items require a bit more base prep to make)
Adding to this, I added the RESTLESS BURRITO
which is a mixture of some koif mob foods, which will give you
mana regeneration 3
strength 2
resistance 1
regeneration 2
lifesteal
for 25 seconds
Other:
Tierify now has a global reforging material.
Sundial can now skip weather events exactly like a vanilla bed (no more constant thunderstorms) and heal broken hearts and phylactery charms.
Battle tower loot pools have been altered to be better (all BTs)
Sulfuride can now generate in nethers_exorcism_reborn:biohazardous_delta alongside the regular bsasalt deltas
Several bosses got reworked with new mechanics
Bosses can no longer spawn infernaled. (Only in normal difficulty.. expert and malicious have their own spawns)
New background for the panorama (and layout has been changed)
Added undershirt to just leveling
BUGS/PERFORMANCE/FIXES
Every single bug that I could find recently in regards to teraphobia has been fixed, this means that performance is restored to what it was before 2.5.1
So it runs much better, chunks load nicely and most importantly, no more crashes from random bs. I also ran multiple tests to boil down on the little things that eat performance.
Treasure bags cant give you unobtainable items anymore, and will also not give you useless items anymore
Removed the chat spam when loading into a new world
Cleaned up unobtainable items and weapons in the pack
Alex cave biome spawns fixed
