Residual Presence - A True Psychological Horror Experience

Residual Presence is a Minecraft Horror Modpack that I have spent the last 5-6 months trying to perfect. I have been testing out different mods to try and find the best of the best, creating the scariest psychological experience I could. Although there are a few dwellers, they appear very rarely and the modpack is focused on building up dread, which is the fear of the unknown; As well as terrror, which is the fear of what is right in front of you.

WARNING: 6GB of RAM is automatically allocated to the modpack for better performance, especially in VR. If you do not have enough RAM for this, you can turn it down to 4GB, though anything below this will not run well.

Features:

Advanced Mob AI: With the use of Simple Voice Chat and Attract to Sound, mobs are now able to hear your voice and any other sounds you make. Even something as small as eating a peice of food can echo throughout the cave and alert mobs to your presence, drawing them closer.

Mimics: There are creatures in this modpack called imposters, which have a rare chance of spawning. They will copy the skin, name, and even the voice of a random player, attempting to act like them in order to lure and kill you.

2-Way Radios: Commenly called walkie-talkies, you can craft a 2-way radio for you and your friends to communicate over long distances

Guns: Literally just guns

VR SUPPORT: Visor is installed on this modpack for VR support if you want to torture yourself even more! (Use a wired connection for best performance, TaCZ guns is NOT compatible with VR as of writing this)

A variety of Shader and Texture packs are provided depending on what style you'd like to go with (Example: MCVHS + Programmer art for analog horror)

I won't talk about the kind of things you can expect from the horror mods since the whole premise of this modpack is the fear of the unknown, that feeling that something can come out and attack you at any given moment.

This modpack has taken me months to perfect and I think this is as good as it gets. If you have any suggestions for mods, feel free to ask in the comments, but I won't add too many "In-your-face" mods. Before you comment, it is recommended to download the latest avaliable version of the modpack
