REnew's Ultimate Apocalypse

A bioweapon went wrong, causing mutated mycelium monsters to arise with the sole objective of erasing mankind. This… thing IS the bioweapon, reemerging from centuries of slumber. An ancient project from a bygone era is ready to retake the world and kill YOU. So you must prepare, right? Absolutely. Your main objective is to overcome this… thing… and maybe even find the cure to all of this… or just destroy it all. 

Start

You start your world with a Glock 17 packed with 120 total 9mm rounds and a bunch of food and water. Build an improvised base, or not, and prepare as days will progressively get harder as the mycelium infection takes over everything.

Take Care of Yourself to Survive

Make sure you stay hydrated, eat well (specially with the Farmer’s Delight mod), and watch out for your temperature as many biomes can get very hot or cold. 

Explore

Explore the various structures (over 20)  found over this decayed world with your favorite horse of course! The horseman mod will fix those annoying problems with the horses. As you adventure through the world with your horse, you’ll find places where the infecteds used to habitat, or were they currently habitat. 

Beautiful Surroundings 

Admire well made biomes and environmental sounds and surroundings when exploring, mining, constructing, or just sitting around as you look at the eerie, dark shaders. Especially during certain times you’ll feel a bit uneasy while exploring as you’ll hear certain things every now and then. 

Infecteds 

You’ll witness the early stages of the mycelium convert from basic to advanced and extremely destructive if you don’t take action against them. They’re smart, and will always find a way to try and kill you. They’re able to build gigantic colonies and hives where the most powerful… not even infecteds anymore, but CALAMITIES, that will destroy absolutely everything in their path.

Guns and explosives

Your very sophisticated way of taking care of them. Craft the most destructive guns and explosives to convert them into just a bunch of flesh and organs. Certain guns will have certain characteristics that’ll make them more effective against specific infecteds. Just be careful to handle your explosives carefully as they will surely OF COURSE kill you and destroy everything near them if you don’t handle them correctly . Also, guns will not save you, they will always find a way…

Noise Matters, and a lot.

As far as real guns go and explosives go, you know they’re exceedingly loud, maybe a bit too much. Well, as REnew always wants to make highly detailed projects, there is no surprise that the guns in the modpack will be exceedingly loud also. But be very CAREFUL of not shooting at everything like a…. Well, you know… As I said before, the mycelium infecteds are very smart and will get attracted by your gun shots and will surely have their comrades join them.

Multiplayer and Smoooooooooth Animations

This very detailed and high quality modpack includes Essential so you can play with your trusty comrades and try to survive as long as possible with them. Horseman and many player and mob animation resource packs have been added for the sake of the buttery smooth animations when doing things like, walking, running, reloading, carrying your gun, etc.

Build Your Base

At some point you will basically be forced to build not an improvised base, but an actual planificated base to have a place to put everything in place and get comfortable. Security Craft helps you with that in a very effective way. Reinforce blocks and place turrets, alarms, traps, or anything you want to protect you and your base so you can have a comfortable place to live.

Villages Can Now Protect Themselves 

Villages got a whole new overhaul on the places they live in. Now there are even armed guards that will do anything to protect the place they live in. Find more attractive and bigger villages rather than the old, basic, small villages Minecraft used to have.

Enjoy the Simple Things and a Well Optimized Modpack

Admire many quality of life mods and just basically enjoy a fully functional modpack that has been tested rigorously to fix even the slightest things. Also enjoy a modpack that can be played on any PC quality range. No matter if your PC is a potato connected to a wire, with the minimum settings it will surely handle pretty decently.
