Red Panda Gone is now more than just a casual project. Welcome to the Ultimate MMORPG styled modpack, centered around Vanilla aspects, improving the world and filling it with things it previously found empty. From Forts filled with hundreds of Illager Foes, to dangerous dungeons deep under the surface filled with every menace out for your blood, this pack will be a test of your mettle (if you choose a harder difficulty at least...). They may strike you down but you'll be able to dish it back tenfold. You will die, you will live. You will fall, you will progress. Save the End from it's last Dragon Inhabitant. Control the skies on mounts ten times as fierce! You are not alone. You have unlikely allies in even more unlikely places. Travel worlds not your own and take your gear to the next level and beyond.
The current build available here on Curse is a VERY outdated pack. Thank you for your patience! This was uploaded to ensure I know how to upload the pack when it is in fact finished/updated.
I will also find time to create a better presentation here on its Curse page!
Plans for the future of the pack:
Reward Quests: This pack is designed to let you choose your own path through various means, whether you'd like to use vanilla style tools, or modded modular tools, grind xp at a tower or through the night, the choice is yours! Reward quests will be implemented to reward your experimentation with new mods! I've started Rewards Quests a while ago but had added content and played through this pack to verify the pack is beatable (which I consider to be beating the Ender Dragon, of course you don't have to stop there) and actually some of the Quests will not be just rewards but some story, maybe progression chains, etc. More than just rewards! It's a lot of quests to implement however and it will take a lot of time by myself since I'm the sole developer of the pack due to internet issues. I appreciate all patience with the pack, it's a lot of fun to play and well worth the wait I assure you! (IN PROGRESS)
Lore: So far the only bit of lore you get from the back is from your starter gear. I aim to forge a *loose* history behind some things, using mods like Tetra with their crashed ships, or Repurposed Structures with their ancient looking structures. As I learn more about modpack development and coding in general I hope to build a better pack for the future.
Tweaks: I am always looking to find the right balance for this pack so that while the pack can hit you hard, you can hit it back harder. Difficulty setting matters! You gain more xp towards your skills if you play in Hard mode, less xp if you play on Easy mode.
Special Surprise: There is another project within this pack that I'll be working on after the Rewards Quests update that I will not talk about at this time. I'd like it to be a surprise and the future may give teasers here and there.
I will check for comments here and there. All mods are credited to their respective authors here on Curseforge! I have not made a single mod in this pack, please check out all the authors of the mods in this pack for documentation or questions! Or if you have questions you think I'd be able to answer I will try my best!
April 2nd Update: Hey all, Yaddy here. So as life has its ups and downs the pack does too. I should begin with I'm wrapping up the Rewards Quests update, motivation/focus was hard for a while. That being said I'm also going to apologize for anybody hyped to play with friends. I'm going to have to release this as a Single Player pack for the time being until I can get things sorted out, if that ever may happen. I want this project to do well and I'm no longer going to let the Server Pack interfere with its release, it'll just happen when it happens. If anybody has suggestions I'd love to hear them as usual. I had to revamp the quests a bit to make it more manageable for myself as well so that took a good bit of time. I'm aiming for before the 1 year anniversary of the old pack's upload for release but no promises as I've started working outside my home again and have significantly less time to work on the pack.
