This is a small modpack aimed to combine features from Beta with Minecraft now. This is inspired by Dahomey's BetaReborn series, and it includes mods from that series as well as other which I added myself, which aim to slightly overhaul Minecraft.
It is highly recommended to turn smooth lighting off and map the fog toggle key in controls to get a more faithful Beta feeling.
For the resource packs, put Golden days at the top, Simpler Times in the middle and Programmer Art at the bottom.
This modpack brings about a lot of changes to the game, many which are toggleable, these include but are not limited to:
-Old sounds and music (resource packs required)
-Old water and lighting (be sure to disable smooth lighting for the best experience)
-The removal of sprinting (which is toggleable via the Fabrication mod in the Mods setting)
-The removal of hunger and the hunger system being replaced with the old one (this is also toggleable)
-New (well, technically old) terrain generation from pre-Beta 1.8 (you must toggle this when creating a world as it is a world type)
-The old pre-1.9 combat system (also toggleable)
A new mob called the Human is added, which was originally in the beta 1.7.3 files but not in the game, however beware- as the mob will attack you on sight.
It is also recommended to play this modpack with a Beta style resource pack for the best experience, necessary resource packs are included with the mod.
