The government of Minecraftia, a peaceful and prosperous, if dictatorial world, hid a dark secret. Most of their technological advancements of the past decade came from the labour of the Department of Virus Exploitation. Powered by a machine known only as the Dark Core, DOVE secretly worked on bioweapons to control and subdue the population of Minecraftia, who had become discontent at all the restrictions placed on them.

DOVE researched, and created three bioweapons which would cause the downfall of civilization.
Blackwing - The most dangerous and common virus, it causes people to turn into Zombie-Like creatures, and can re-animate the dead.
Sanguine - It causes people to become Vampire-Like creatures. Infected can become either feral, or keep their minds.
Luna - It causes people to become Werewolf-Like creatures. Infected can become either feral, or keep their minds.
Gigas - A virus designed to bio-engineer and enhance the creatures of the world.

An escape of Blackwing caused the scientists overseeing the Core to turn, the core destabilized, and leaked radiation and allowed infected subjects to be free. Within weeks, entire cities were in ruins, the weather became dangerous, and, for some, the evil contained in the dark core tainted their very being, creating the Killers.

Now, you, a lowly intern of DOVE, must survive in this world. Will you fall to the Blackwing virus, enlighten yourself with Luna or Sanguine, or attempt to retake the world? The Choice is yours.

NAME - ALIGNMENT - INFO
The Undead - Hostile - The Hordes of People infected by the Blackwing Virus
Vampires - Hostile if uninfected - People infected with Sanguine.
Werewolves - Hostile if uninfected - People infected with Luna.

DOVE Science Wing - Passive - They seem more concerned about surviving the fighting you.

DOVE Guard Wing - Hostile - Pillagers are the former guards of DOVE. Some have set up bases in outposts, mansions and ruins, though some defend DOVE Labs.
MURKU - Hostile - DOVE Spec Ops inoculated against the Blackwing Virus, ignored by the Undead, they're coming for you.
Military - Hostile - Focused on wiping out both you and the infection, the last remnants of the old government.
Hunters - Hostile if a Vampire or Werewolf - People dedicated to hunting down the Creatures, Protect Villages.
Colonies - Passive - Create your own civilization out of the ashes of old, and govern and control it however you desire.

The Core - Unknown - It's remnants exist in the moon, and as such, it can have different effects, such as the Blood Moon.
Killers - Hostile - People directly affected by Evil Core energy, being such as Chucky, Dracula and Jason Vorhees.

HELP

World creation tips?
On the World Creation screen, go into 'More World Options', select the 'Cities' button in the top right corner and change the 'Profile' option in the top left to an option of your choice, such as Default, Rare etc. 0.005 to 0.002 seems to be a good number for infrequent, but not too rare cities.
This pack is way too hard!
If you're struggling, don't be scared to remove mods, or add them, to make it easier.
How do I set waypoints?
You can access your minimap options by pressing the Y key.

What is the lore?
You're heading into the world as an ex-DOVE employee. You weren't high up, only an intern. As such, you start with your scientist uniform, a Discarded Pipe, some food and some First Aid Kits.
The Dead Sea keeps killing me!
You need a Chemical Protection Suit to stand on Alternative Sand.
Survival Tips?
Subjects 1-5 are hard-hitting, and 2 is especially fast.
When dealing with mobs, the best defence is distance. Ranged Weapons are your friend here.

Zombies DO NOT burn in the daylight. Keep them from spawning by keeping your lands well lit.
Protect your bases with walls and fences to keep hostile mobs out, and friendly mobs in.
Mutant Creatures are rare spawns (Creeper,Enderman,Blaze) - do not underestimate their power.
Guard Villagers can be created by giving an unemployed or nitwit villager an iron sword or crossbow. They're very handy for defending settlements.
Villagers will follow you if you hold an emerald.

Dimensions?

The Overworld has the most resources, but also the most danger. Most mobs here want to eat you.
The Nether has some resources, and most mobs are hostile or neutral, but it's a safe haven from the Undead, Vampires and Werewolves. The roof is largely safe, but flying mobs can occasionally spawn up here.
The End has little resources, and some hostile mobs, but is largely safe once the dragon is dealt with. Watch out for Mutant Enderman.

What's My Goal?
As with most Minecraft packs, there isn't really a set goal. Completely clearing the world of infection would likely be impossible, but aside from vanilla goals, here are some options:

Achieve Max Level Vampire, Werewolf or Vampire Hunter.

Create your own Minecolony, well lit, and with a thriving settlement.

Defeat the Void Worm - A Creation of the Dark Core.
