Mods that affect the game:
- AppleSkin - shows more information about food and your health bar
- Inventory Profiles Next - allows sorting inventories, other features turned off by default
- JourneyMap - adds a map, minimap, and allows a map to be hosted on a web server
- Just Enough Items (JEI) - allows recipe searching
- R while hovering over an item to see the recipe(s) to make the item
- U while hovering to see recipes that use the item
- Light Overlay - hit F7 to see where it's dark enough for enemies to spawn
- Mouse Tweaks - adds a few features that make moving large quantities of items easier
- Short Grass - makes grass shorter so you can more easily hit mobs
- Horse Stats Vanilla - shows horse stats in-game
