Lightning System Overhaul

  • Lightning now deals true damage
  • Lightning storms have been reworked

New Behavior:

  • Holding or wearing electric conductive items during a thunderstorm can cause lightning to strike you
  • Dropped conductive items on the ground can also attract lightning
  • Lightning deals increased damage if the player/mob is in water
  • Metallic mobs now have a chance to be struck by lightning

Important Condition:

  • Lightning will ONLY strike in biomes where it is actually raining
    • Example: Thunderstorms in deserts will NOT trigger strikes

Electric Conductive Materials:

  • Steel
  • Silver
  • Iron
  • Copper
  • Gold
  • Netherite
  • Tumbaga
  • Electrum
  • Brass
  • Any item heavily made from these materials (e.g., blocks, tools)

How to Avoid Lightning

  • Remove conductive items
  • Stay under cover (not in open areas)
  • Wear lightning-immune armor:
    • Leather Armor
    • Sheep Armor
    • Wandering, Electromancer, Wizard Armor
    • All Troll Armor
    • Lightning Dragon Steel Armor
    • Lightning Dragon Scale Armor
    • Electric Dragon Priest Armor
  • Drink Lightning Resistance Potion
  • Use an origin immune to lightning

Copper System Changes

  • Removed copper nuggets from Ice and Fire & Create
  • Tuning Wire now uses Spelunkery copper nuggets
  • Copper ingots now crafted from Spelunkery nuggets
  • Copper piles drop Spelunkery nuggets
  • Smelting copper gear returns Spelunkery nuggets

World & Gameplay Changes

  • Seasons now take 9 full day/night cycles (~40 minutes)
  • Dragons now spawn at least 500 blocks from spawn (previously could spawn as close as 1 block)
  • Sleep system updated: takes 16 minutes to become tired

New Dimension — The Deep Void

  • Access by going below bedrock in the Overworld
  • Only works in the Overworld

Important Notes:

  • First entry may take time to load → do NOT panic if falling in void
  • Re-entering is faster
  • If you die inside:
    • You respawn in the dimension
    • You cannot leave until crafting a Void Pendant
  • If you leave without dying:
    • Teleport effect persists until death
    • Fix by dying twice if bugged

Balance Changes:

  • Not required to progress the game
  • High-risk, high-reward loot

Combat & System Updates

  • EpicFight compatibility applied to mod weapons
  • Some weapons removed for balance
  • Added fall damage mitigation info in Guidebook

Guidebook Updates

  • Updated Guidebook version
  • Added:
    • Combat System → Fall mechanics
    • General → Thunderstorm changes

New Origin — The Damned

  • High difficulty (3-impact origin) with strong late-game payoff
  • Evolves over 60 minutes total

Evolution Phases

Phase 0 — Damned

  • Normal stats
  • No mana regeneration
  • Evolves in 10 minutes

Phase 1 — Veiled

  • +1 Strength, +2 Armor
  • Gains hunger points from kills
  • Evolves in 20 minutes

Ability: Hiding

  • Can turn invisible
  • Cannot deal damage while invisible
  • Reduced armor while invisible
  • Faster hunger drain

Phase 2 — Oppressor

  • +2 Strength, +4 Defense
  • +15% movement & attack speed
  • Evolves in 30 minutes

Passive: Soul Pressure

  • Nearby entities are slowed, weakened, and made vulnerable (8-block radius)

Passive: Void Blessing

  • No darkness damage
  • No fall damage
  • Stalker no longer spawns nearby
  • Effects only active in The Deep Void

Phase 3 — Sovereign (Final)

  • +3 Strength, +6 Defense
  • +15% movement & attack speed

Upgrade: Camouflage

  • True invisibility (armor + items hidden)
  • Can attack (with Weakness I)

Ability: Void Unbound

  • Teleports user + nearby players/mobs (6 blocks)
  • Between Overworld and Deep Void (Can be done in other Dimentions like the Nether, but you might be placed in block, so use it with care)
  • 8-second charge (immobile + takes extra damage)
  • 3-minute cooldown (persists through death)
  • Targets marked with glowing effect

Restrictions:

  • Cannot use Camouflage while teleporting
  • Releasing early cancels without cooldown
