Description

"One mod that I think would be interesting to have is the Randomizer mod. I wonder how far you can get with that mod if you were to add it, IF you were to even get anywhere with it, haha. " - Me, June 16th, 2026.

(Do note that this modpack was intened for medium to high-end sytems. It takes me 19 minutes to get the main menu and 6 minutes to fully load into the world on average. Another thing, when you go into CurseForge and look at Mods, there should be 294 mods loaded in total. If you have a low-end system and would still like to play or if you don't see 294 mods, please join the Discord server for further support/assistance.)

Disclaimer:

Delete "Prehistoric Nature Intagration" as I forgot to remove it before exporting this modpack. I apologize! Also, PLEASE do ***not*** update LittleTiles or Tinkers' Evolution as it'll make them incompatible to work with the modpack! If you do accidentally update them: Downgrade LittleTiles back to version LittleTiles_v1.5.85_mc1.12.2 and Tinkers' Evolution back to version 1.12.2-1.1.3.

"Are you someone who loves adventuring and intrested in seeing over 400+ new structures or perhaps 100+ new biomes? Oh, you're not someone who loves exploring much? That's fine!

Maybe you love finding/seeing over 2,000 new and diffrent animals or diffrent types of creatures? Not into that stuff as much? That's fine!

Perhaps you'll love interacting with nature or messing around with the genetics of some of them? Still not what you want? That's fine!

Maybe you just want to be a farmer taking care of some animals? No? Yeah, I get it. It's a lot of work.

Perhaps you just want to build some crazy detailed stuff with near unlimited blocks and possibilities? Not really into building? That's fine!

How about making near infinite tools, weapons, and armor sets of your liking? Not much into smithing? Yeah, that's understandable.

Maybe you want to build/find your own village and turn it into your own empire? Not into being a ruler much? I understand. It is a pretty big duty.

Well, how about traveling into space and exploring diffrent types of planets that you're able to configure how many you see? Not into space much? That's fine!

I'm sure that you'll find something that will intrest you so keep looking around!"

As you can probably tell, this modpack has quite a bit to offer for just about anyone and more that I may have not mentioned! The only mods I didn't bother adding because I'm personally not a big fan of them is magic-related and engineering-related mods. Realisticly, these are all mods that I personally enjoy and have a lot of fun playing with. I tried to add as much content as I could that I felt as though would be suitable for a modpack like this so do expect it to be pretty content heavy. I hadn't originally planned on making this pubilc but I figured why not share it with others to see if others would like it as much as I do or to at least see what others think. So if there's some mods that I added that may not make sense, that's why. There isn't that many screenshots that I added because I don't really wanna spoil anything for anyone so you can go into it blindly and have it be something you experience for the first time! Let's go ahead and get started!

"How or where do I even start?" Well, this is what you'll need to get started!: image I know you may be wondering what you're looking at and well, that's everything you'll need to, hopefully, get you through your first night. As you could probably tell, items don't drop the way they used to and you can no longer walk over an item to automatically pick it up. You must now either right-click the item you're looking at or just sneak! This is supposed to be helpful at reducing the amount of clutter items you may accidentally pick up or the stuff you don't want to pick up right after you dropped it. It can be tedious at first but will come in handy as you keep playing. Anyway, the first "item" you're looking at is called a "flint hatchet" and it'll be used to help you chop down your first tree! After that, you're going to want to either place the wood down on the ground (must be facing upwards) and right-click the center of the wood with the axe. Or you can do it the easy way and put both the wood and axe in your 2x2 crafting grid to get your planks. Afterwards, you should be able to make a crafting table to help you advance to your next set of flint tools which are a lot more durable! The "flint axe" and "flint pickaxe" will be your friends for a little bit until you can find copper because… there's no more stone tools! (Don't worry, I'm just as disappointed as you are. I'm unsure how to get them back without removing "Better With Mods." :( )

Now that you got copper tools and stuff, you would think; "oh, all I need to do now is just find iron and I'll be set!," right? Well, that would be way too easy and straightforward. So, thank's to "Reskillable," you must now work for certain stuff! Isn't that fun and engaging? And on top of that, you now have a use for all that xp, that you'll probably keep losing, that's just sitting waiting for you to use it on enchanting. image

This is an old image but there are 64 total levels for each skill instead of the usual 32! This is to hopefully promote the gathering of xp and the need for combat. Have fun getting xp! Or if you find any enchanted books you might not want or obtain from the disenchanter, you can get an empty bottle and put both of them into the crafting grid to get an xp bottle that way. Way to go for finding a better use for that Curse of Vanishing book!

"Okay, now that I've gotten my first few tools and understand how the skill levling thing works, what do I do now?" Well, the fun part about this whole thing is that, that is entirely up to you!

Because there's so much that this modpack offers and everyone's playthrough will be diffrent and unique, what you do after getting your first few tools is entirely up to you! There is no set end-goal as this modpack is meant for you to go at your own pace! I will, however, recommend you place down that house that was given to you at the beginning of the game if you haven't found one by now as night can be a bit…much.

(It should look something like this!)

If you ever need to know how something is made, where to find a certain item(s), or what something is used for, I have added any JEI addons that should help out anyone who may be lost! The "R" and "U" key will really come in handy. And on top of that, it's not exclusive to only in the inventory! Most blocks if you press "R" or "U," it should also pull up the JEI menu! How cool is that?

Also, there is vein miner to hopefully reduce the time it takes for you to mine the huge ore veins that you stumble across fairly often (sneak to activate) and you can now have your own renewable lava source like water right at home so you're noting having to go back to that same ol' lava pool! Just make sure you cage it…

I hope that you enjoy this modpack as much as I do and happy exploring! :) If you have any further questions, issues, or feedback, please let me know in the comments or in the Discord server!

FAQ

1.) ***"What prompted you to make this modpack?"*** I already touched on this around the beginning a bit but this is a more in-depth insight: Nothing really! This modpack was originally supposed to be just for me and I had no intent on making it public. I have had this modpack for over 4 years and I just kept on adding mods that I felt as though was to my liking and I'm proud to say that, as of June 28, 2026, I have officially achieved that goal. I have searched far and wide, went from source to source, scrolled through hundreds of pages in the 1.12.2 section on CurseForge, to perfect this modpack. About two weeks ago, I just decided that maybe people would like this modpack as much as I do so why not post it and see how it goes? What I was trying to achieve when I made this modpack was trying to make it as realistic (but not painfully-unplayable realistic) as possible, but with a bit of unrealistic aspects as well to try and make it fun in a sense. I will say, I did take a bit of inspiration from RlCraft as it just wasn't quite my tempo as I felt as though some aspects were either too difficult and made it too difficult to play or it just didn't really fit in the modpack. 2.) ***"How come when I try to add a liner of any sort on the xxx armor set it doesn't let me and there's no recipe for it?"*** I added most of the armor sets to be compatible with Armor Underwear but if there's an armor set(s) that you would like to add that I didn't add, you would have to go to the `configs within the modpack > scroll down until you see "wabbity_armor" config > add them in yourself! :)` The only armor sets I didn't bother adding were the ones from Block Armor since there's way too many, for one, and also because half of the armor sets I feel as though people won't use anyway. 3.) ***"I'm unable to place a certain (carpet/fence/wall/trapdoor/stair etc.) underneath/on top of a (carpet/fence/wall/trapdoor/stair etc.) Why is that?"*** For Underlay, there may have been some blocks I didn't add so that you can place underneath or on top each other so if there are blocks you would like to be added, you would have to go to the `configs within the modpack > scroll down a bit until you see the "Underlay" config (it should be a folder) > add whatever blocks that you want to be able to be underneath each other!` 4.) ***"Is there a way for me to add more planets/galaxies? If so, how?"*** There is, yes! In order to do so, you must ensure that you have loaded up into at least one world. After that, you will have to go to the `saves within the modpack > find the folder of what you named your world > find the folder that says "advRocketry" > scroll all the way down until you see "planetDefs" > once you're in, at the top you should see something like this:` `<galaxy> (or it may say <star> as you go further down instead of galaxy.) <star blackHole="false" diskAngle="70.0" name="Sol" numGasGiants="0" numPlanets="0" size="1.0" temp="100" x="0" y="0"> Where it says "numGasGiants" and "numPlanets" that's where you'll change the 0's to whatever number you would like! Just be mindful if you plan on using big numbers.` There are 7 in total that are like this so have fun! :) 5.) ***"How come, even though I'm sneaking, VeinMiner isn't working with the tool that I'm holding/on the block I broke?"*** That's because you will have to manually have to add it yourself. I may have overlooked some of the tools/blocks so if that is the case then you're going to want to go to the `configs within the modpack > scroll all the way down until you see the "veinminer" config > and add the item/block yourself!` You can also do this in-game but it will require a restart. Please ensure that you read the section you're in before you add anything to ensure that you're adding the right thing in the right section as if you don't then it could cause veinminer unable to be loaded with the modpack unless you make the correct changes. 6.) ***"How do I add/decrease the amount of Flat Colored Blocks there are?"*** If you're in-game: `mods > find "Flat Colored Blocks" > config > take it from there! But ensure that you're carefully reading what each box does before changing the numbers.` Afterwards, restart your game for the changes to be taken into effect. If you're not in-game: `configs within the modpack > scroll down until you see 'flatcoloredblocks" > take it from there! Just ensure you read what each line does before changing the numbers.`

How long it took me to make this modpack for anyone who's wondering:

Day 1: 3 hours, Day 2: 8 hours, Day 3: 5 hour, 14 minutes, Day 4: 6 hours, 3 minutes, Day 5: 11 hours, 34 minutes, Day 6: 9 hours, 58 minutes, Day 7: 9 hours, 43 miutes, Day 8: 10 hours, 12 minutes, Day 9: 12 hours, Day 10: 8 hours, 57 minutes, Day 11: 9 hours, 38 minutes, Day 12: 10 hours, 29 minutes, Day 13: 11 hours, 27 minutes, Day: 14: 5 hours, 14 minutes, Day 15: 11 hours, 5 minutes, Day 16: 4 hours: 45 minutes, Day 17: 13 hours and 5 minutes, Day 18: 11 hours, 19 minutes

Mods I considered adding:

OpenComputers (I'm bad when it comes to circuits and coding), WebDisplays (It's cool but I didn't really feel like bothering with it), Morph (It can be pretty overpowering), Ultimate Car Mod (I feel like this mod is only good if you're playing multiplayer), Music Player (People have reported that it doesn't work the way it should so if you do add it, keep that in mind), Pet Pass (Again, another mod if you're playing multiplayer), Two Players One Horse (Again, another mod if you're playing multiplayer), Extra Bit Manipulation (I think that this mod is actually pretty cool for one reason, you can build your own armor pieces to your liking! (requires Chisel and Bits since it's an addon for that mod)), Pick Up Notifier (I felt like people may not want that on the side of the screen everytime they pick something up), Equipment Compare (I feel like not everyone wants to compare their armor, weapons, and/or tools although it could be helpful), MalisisDoors (I think this mod is amazing if you want to make your own doors and customize how they behave!), Underground Biomes (If you're a rock fan), A Man With Plushies (I'm not sure if everyone is into plushies), CasinoCraft (I didn't want there to be gambling into my modpack), Pyrotech (This mod is very unique in its own way and I love the concept of this mod. I just feel like it may clash with Better With Mods and PrimalCore), Good Ol' Currency (Again, another mod if you're playing multiplayer), Kamen Rider Craft (Another content-heavy mod but it adds a bunch of pretty cool armor sets!), TekTopia (Sadly is overhuals the villagers that's in the modpack. Why is this a bad thing? Some of those villagers you're going to need later on), Food Funk (I felt like this was going to make the game too challenging), Craft Takes Time (I felt like it would be too tedious. This won't be like ARK!), NoCubes (It's really cool ad I think it definitely would fit into the modpack! Although, I felt like it would cause major lagging issues along with conflit issues), Create Legacy (Not much of an engineer), Crafting Automat (Automated crafting? Who needs this? Unless you're an engineer), Chance Cubes (I felt like this could get out of control and over powered really easily), Extra Alchemy (Not really my cup of tea.)

Mods I had added but ended up removing:

First Aid - I was tired of constantly dying instantly from one headshot and the slowness effect whenever my legs/feet were damaged. Universal Bestiary - It's a good mod to have but it sadly only supports certain mods which are none that I have added except for Tinkers and Quark. (In total, it'll only be 5 modded mobs that it will support.) Unique Enchantments (and its two addons) - It makes the game more laggy, for some reason, than what it already is. Not Enough Pets - Whenever I tried to place down a dog from this mod, it crashed my game entirely. If you chose to add it, do be mindful! Potion Core - Makes the game more laggy and it ended up crashing my game. Jurassic Reborn - It's a really nice mod that's well put together but I feel like it doesn't really fit in with the other dinosaur mods I have and it also isn't loading into the modpack for some reason so you can't see or craft any of the contents in JEI. Millénaire Extended - Made the game incredibly laggy. Moar TCon - Incompatible with Essential. Realistic Fire Spread - Crashes the game occasionally. Prehistoric Nature Integration - Not supported with the latest version of Prehistoric Nature. Advent of Ascension - It's a really cool mod but it's not quite something I would enjoy to have.
