RealisticRPG

A modpack that has a variety of different structure, weapon, and realistic mods to make your Minecraft experience more like an RPG/realistic game.

This modpack is an adventure/realistic/RPG style modpack

Most of the mods used here are planned to improve your vanilla Minecraft experience, and provide an adventure, realistic-type RPG for you to enjoy. I plan to expand this modpack by adding new mods and configurations for you to have a wide variety of things to do.

It's also recommended that you look at the various key binds in this modpack, because there's a lot of them. You'll also have to change some key binds since some of them overlap with each other.

Update log:

1.5:

This update changed so many things, as well as adding so many different mods.

The 1st thing that this update does, is replace the Herobrine Awakens mod with From the Fog. This's because it's just a much more superior Herobrine mod, making this the last choice of a Herobrine mod in this modpack. This update also added a lot of Yung's mods, just to make the vanilla structures more unique and interesting. There's also a new dimension, (well actually there's 3 different mods that add new dimensions), but the main one is the Twiligh Forest, which definitely adds a lot more content for you to do in this pack.

The other 2 new dimension adding mods are Dimensional Dungeons, and FRV Tools. Dimensional Dungeons is just an amazing dungeon mod that has a near infinite number of dungeons, due to them being procedurally generated, and making it so that you can't break anyting in them. Which'll lead to you having to complete their puzzles. FRV Tools was a mod that was actually on the first beta version of this pack, but I removed it because it wasn't really complete and seemed a bit random, but I've added it back because it looks a lot better now and I even know what most of the mod does. (You can also become so powerful in it, so that's really good).

When it comes to inventory and other bars, I removed Inventorio and replaced it with Tool Belt, which's a much more realistic way of managing inventory, and also removed Inventory HUD+ because it took up too much of the screen. You can now see the armor bar rap around and changing color, like Scaling health with their health bars, when wearing armor that's more powerful than diamond, as well as there being an armor toughness bar. But the biggest thing that's added by your hotbar is your newly added sanity. This mod makes things a lot more challenging, as I really wanted this modpack to be harder in some way. So not only to you have to watch out for your locational health, nutrition, thirst, and temperature, but now you've to look out for your sanity, or else you will suffer the consequences.

I also made it so that you can pollut your world, so be careful of that.

Oh and BTW, you now can't break blocks with your hand that require a tool. This includes trees, so have fun getting the splinter effect and making flint tools to be able to break it :)

1.4.1:

In this mini update I reworked how temperature and thirst works in the modpack. I removed Tough as Nails and replaced it with Cold Sweat and Thirst Was Taken, this's because Tough as Nails sadly doesn't work nearly as well as these other 2 mods. The new thirst mod also adds a mechanic like saturation to the thirst bar, and the temperature mod also adds a bunch more stuff to help with your temperature than Tough as Nails. Bye Tough as Nails :(

1.4:

The first thing that I added in this update is the Controlling mod, because there're so many different controls in this modpack, as well as some key binds overlapping others. This makes it necessary to change certain key binds to be able to do certain things, and this mod will make it much easier to find these different controls and key binds. I've honestly no idea why I didn't add this mod sooner. Another mod I added was Breezy, which adds some wind effects and a hot air balloon for transport.

Ever since I removed Magnesium, which had the optifine zoom; making thing unrealistic, I've always missed it. So I added this mod called vanilla zoom, which allows you to zoom into something by spontaneously creating a spyglass in your offhand when the key bind is pressed. This makes it much more realistic and vanilla friendly.

One of the biggest changes in this update is now you spawn in with a starter kit! I removed the mod, village spawn point, and replaced it with this so instead of spawning in a village to help you get started, this starter kit will give you basic tools and weapons to start off with. Finally, I also added mods that adds: more creepers, Overworld ores that can spawn in the Nether and the End, creepy eyes that spawn at night from a distance and disappear when you get too close, Tinker's construct type hammers for overpowered mining, a cool new feature to the menu screen that makes it look nicer, footprints, healing campfires, dangerous fire arrows, and a wooden version of flint and steel.

1.3:

In this update, I've added 2 new structure mods (Repurposed Structures, and Immersive Structures) that just adds to the way too many structure mods that're already in this modpack. I've also added mod that adds even more armor sets to choose from as well (Immersive Armors).

Another main mod added in this update is Dynamic Trees, which I've replaced with the mod that made the trees fall down in a vanilla friendly way. This's because it was just a hassle to chop down the wood, and it made a really big mess when you did, which I wasn't a fan of. So Dynamic Trees will make the trees look nice, and not create a mess. Dynamic lights is a mod I added to replace Magnesium's emit light when holding a block/item that emits light feature. This's because the zoom that Magnesium provided made me feel like cheating when I was in survival mode. As well as these mods, I've added a few different small mods that makes things just a little bit more interesting.

I've also replace the The End of Herobrine mod with the Herobrine Awakens mod, since this one is more vanilla friendly (and doesn't have a crappy boss fight).

I've also removed quite a few other mods as well, such as, Nameless Trinkets, Coal Additions, Mr. Crayfish's Gun mod, and Meadow. I removed Nameless Trinkets because I already had an accessory mod called Artifacts, so there were too many accessories that were in the pack. Some of the accessories in Nameless Trinkets didn't work, and you could craft most of them (which I didn't like). Coal Additions, just added different forms of coal you could craft, which I didn't think really mattered. Mr. Crayfish's Gun mod was just a joke, and I forgot to delete it. And finally Meadow added new food you could get, but you could do that with Farmer's Delight anyway, so it just wasn't needed.

1.2.1:

This update just adds the Gravestone mod that I somehow forgor to add in 1.2 💀

1.2:

In this mini update I've added a mod called Hordes that adds an event-like feature where a random night will start spawning a bunch of mobs that'll keep spawning until morning. This's kind of like the Lycanite's Mobs, where an event can occur, spawning certain types of mobs. But this just does it at night, and spawns the same type of mob (which could even be modded).

I've also removed Xaero's Mini-map and replaced it with 2 other mods. I did this because I found the Mini-map unrealistic, and too overpowered. The 1st mod is called the Gravestone mod, which basically spawns a gravestone where you died, keeping all your stuff safe. You can locate the grave by using a piece of paper that will be given to you when you respawn showing exactly where you died. The 2nd replacement mod is called Map Atlases. This mod is like the Antique Atlas mod, but looks way more vanilla. This's definitely way more realistic than having a permanent map on the top left of your screen, showing you where everything is.

(I also removed Auto HUD because that mod was annoying as frick)
