This modpack revolves around the Minecraft Transit Railway mod (MTR). MTR allows you to make your very own automated railway system complete with timetables, depots, and a full ticketing system for you to enjoy. Supporting mods for MTR consist of the legendary McCrayfish furniture mod, which will let you furnish your home (or train station) to make it feel realistic, WorldEdit, which you can use to mold the landscape to your liking for your railroad, and Xaeros minimap and worldmap.
