Welcome to Rainbow madness.
This pack includes a lot of building options, a variety of tech and a touch of magic. You can go the grindy-ish route with tech reborn or the easier way with mekanism, if you find enough of the iskallium you can have passive RF-generation but iskallium is indeed rare.
If you do enough immersive engineering progress you can make life-sized trains and railroads which can transport villagers, items and players.
There are options for auto-farming of resources, either mob-farming or bees etc.
Out in the world there are bunch of bad guys, and you do not wanna mess with them until you're geared up, but they do sit on pretty decent loot if you're brave or smart enough.

I'm still waiting for some mods that are too buggy to use atm but currently there are around 150 mods in this pack that i have picked out carefully.
