There are tower check points scattered throughout the world. many new weapons got added and the weapons type affects how you fight you are slower with the 2 handed weapons like hammers and great swords and faster with one handed like daggers and base swords. there are new bows that do a new plethora of new effects. there is new armors like a bunch of knights armor, effect armor that will help with fire resistance, water breathing, and fall resistance. there is also the presence of magic like runes and spells.
