Quest For The Cauldron is a tech modpack focused on quests and a money system.
If you like tech modpacks like tekkit then this is for you.
If you like building overly complicated production lines then this is for you.
If you like quests and challenges then once more this is for you.
Quest For The Cauldron has loads of popular tech mods like thermal dynamics, immersive engineering and tech reborn but still manages to squeeze in some lesser known mods like hole filler mod. For the long time players there are some classics like Project Red and Forge microblocks. There are also a handful on QoL mods like waila, armor toughness bar, and journeymap to name a few. To smoothen the playing experience there are mods that increase perfromance like foamfix that reduces RAM usage. For the builders the modpack offers many popular mods like chisel, decocraft and mr crayfishs's furniture mod. And many more mods that can be found in the complete modlist.

There are also totally new custom recipes that are aimed to make players try new ways to produce certain items and fluids.
For example sugar canes can be smelted into syrup and syrup can be crystallized into sugar increasing the yield of sugar. Cactus can be turned into acid. Sulfur and acid can be combined to make sulfuric acid.

There are over 800+ quests in 14 categories which are
- Beginning generic quests to get you started
- Marketplace here you can sell your factorys produce to earn coins
- Automation all your factorys machines and pipes to allow automation
- Power Production Quests for machines and contraptions that produce power for your factorys machines
- Rescource foraging Different machines that allow you to get rescouces like quarrys
- Nuclear power nuclear craft reactors and machines
- Storage quests that direct you into building sophisticated item storage systems
- Exploration rewards for finding biomes and other equipment that aid in exploring
- Farming farming related quests
- Trains directs you on building railcraft rail systems
- Space Galacticraft related quests that direct you on how to explore space galacticraft wiki
- Military Turret defenses, ICBMs and other TNT related items
- Base Building quests about mods like decocraft, chisel, MR crayfish's furniture mod
- Challenges various challenges organized into different difficulties more on them later
Many of the quests offer coins that can be spent in the shop as well as random rewards. The random rewards have a pool of over 500 items. Which means almost ever time you collect a reward you get something new. The random rewards are also balanced in a way that you can't get op endgame items at the vert beginning of the game. Instead they offer things that are relevant at any game stage.

Money system and Marketplace
Quest for the Cauldron has a money system thanks to ftb money mod.
Money can be earned by completing quests and selling goods in the marketplace quest tab. The produce can be sold manually on the marketplace but can be set up to automatically sell and collect the money. What kind of production line will you make is left up to your imagination.
The marketplace has many options to choose from. Maybe your factory produces animal produce like meat or eggs. Maybe your factory farms trees or maybe your factory produces microchips and hard drive disks. Maybe your factory produces plastic sheets. Basically the marketplace has many 'professions' to choose from.
What can the money be exchnaged for? There is a shop that sells various materieals, rare items, baubles, equipment and much more.
The shop can be accessed in the left upper corner in the inventory or in the quest menu.

Challenges
Challenges are endgame goals for players to complete.
Challenges are more difficult than normal quests but they offer much better rewards.
Challenges offer rewards like tons of money, relics only obtainable through challenges or items only attainable in creative mode.
There are challenges like activate 35 waystones, craft a nuke or kill 100 withers.

Suggested minimun specs
While this modpack is relatively lightweight (one part thanks to foamfix) I would suggest minimum of
- 5 GB of allocated RAM (If the modpack crashes then put around 6-7GB but no more than 8GB)
