Quantum Licorice

Intro:

This modpack was specifically designed to introduce my girlfriend to MC without it being too modded and complicated, and to play it together in multiplayer. 

The modpack adds (almost) no new blocks or items, and doesn't change world generation. It does however include numerous quality of life features and tweaks to make playing the game more convenient and easy.

I strive to make players experience as little distraction from the classic vanilla Minecraft gameplay as possible.

A world map and a minimap

Full screen advancements

Damage indicators

A grave spawns on death, which contains all your items

Trash slot

Axe the bottom log on a tree to fell the whole tree.

Recipes and items are shown through JEI, information on ore gen and mob drops etc. are also available here

Climbing ladders is faster

Leaves decay fast

Villager names

Light overlay (F7) shows where mobs spawn

Mouseover npcs, blocks and items for an info popup

Dropped items have physics

Editing signs is now possible without first breaking and re-placing the sign

Inventory sorting, mouse dragging items, and crafting tweaks make managing items easier

Server utilites adds a wealth of commands to better manage playing together on a server

Binding keys is more convenient with an added search function, and conflicts can be easily seen and avoided'

Optiforge is added for better compatibility between Optifine and Forge.
