READ ALL OF THIS TO IMPROVE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE MODPACK:
If you want better performance, disable the shaders and the Distant Horizons mod.
Quality and Quests adds:
-Fun (a lot)
-Inventory with improved visuals
-Custom render distance (up to 4,000 chunks)-Quests (designed so that even a beginner can win the game)
-Good optimization
-Visual improvements
-Shaders
If you start seeing caves because all the blocks around you have become invisible, press Esc, then go to the green and blue icon (located in the upper-left corner of the menu). Once inside, the “enable rendering” option should be set to “true.” Click ‘true’ to change it to “false,” and then click it again to set it back to “true.”
This causes Distant Horizons (the mod that lets you see many chunks away) to reload and stop glitching. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to fix that bug, since I don’t know anything about programming :,(.
For better performance and graphics, set the render and simulation distances to 12 chunks. Don't worry about seeing less far—thanks to the Distant Horizons mod, you'll be able to see 120 chunks away without lag (configurable).
If you want visual enhancements and better animations, enable these resource packs:
1-Fresh Animations
2-FA+Player
3-Best Saturation
4-Theone's Eating Animations
Put them in that order; don't touch the other resource packs.
To access the quests, open your inventory and click on the book in the upper-left corner.
The modpack cover was made with ChatGPT :,(
(I’m making this modpack for fun, and besides, I’m 14 years old—I’m not going to start learning how to make pixel art!)
There's also a small chance that when you're in a cave, a wandering trader will appear behind you and make this sound: https://youtu.be/ctT5PIty-X0, and then disappear.
I included it because I think that meme is funny :D.
