Some of the technology mods that it includes are the industrial craft 2, also the buildcraft. In addition, there is the Tinkers with some accessories that make it more fun and entertaining.
As for the exploration, there is the "Roguelike Dungeons" and the "BiomesYouGo" that makes the exploration more entertaining. We also include the voice chat mod to make communication much easier.
Then the rest of the mods make minecraft gameplay more complete as well as Just Enough Items or Hwyla
