- Some changes to the world generation with mods like Biomes O' Plenty (which adds a lot of biomes to the game) and Incendium (which changes the way the nether looks)
- New mobs, such as animals from real life
- New food and ways to craft them, such as pizza and sushi
- Furniture
- Voice chat, which allows for proximity chat in-game
