Welcome to the official launch of Protocol: Deepscape! 🚀 This is a very special milestone as it marks my first-ever modpack release on CurseForge. This project is the result of countless hours of testing, optimizing, and fine-tuning the perfect horror experience for Forge 1.20.1.

🌑 THE INSPIRATION

Protocol: Deepscape was heavily inspired by the chilling atmosphere and relentless dread found in Chapter 1 of the Cave Horror Project. I wanted to take that foundation of psychological terror and expand upon it with tactical defense, modern weaponry, and a technical "protocol" twist. If you enjoyed the feeling of being watched in the dark, you’re going to feel right at home (and equally terrified) here.

🛠️ WHAT’S NEW IN 1.0.0?

  • ✨ The First Deployment: The core foundation of the modpack is officially live!

  • 💀 The Stalker Hierarchy: Integrated several "Dweller" style entities that track, hunt, and haunt you across the overworld and deep underground.

  • 🔫 Advanced Arsenal: Added a wide variety of modern firearms and tactical melee weapons to give you a fighting chance against the unknown.

  • 🛡️ Security Protocol: Implementation of high-tech defense systems—lasers, cameras, and reinforced blocks—to help you fortify your base.

  • 🚀 Performance First: Built on Forge 47.4.20, utilizing Embeddium and ModernFix to ensure a smooth, high-FPS experience even with hundreds of mods active.

📈 A LOOK AHEAD

This is just the beginning. Protocol: Deepscape is the first of many projects I have planned. I am fully committed to the modding community and am willing to publish a lot more modpacks in the future, spanning different genres and themes.
