Promathus
PLEASE REMEMBER TO DOWNLOAD "PROMATHUS MAIN FILE". The other one is outdated.
Promathus is a modpack about adventure, creativity, RPG and exploration.
This modpack is set in a medieval fanatsy, so you are not meant to build futuristic or modern (you can if you want to, but i dont recommend it).
This might just be a cooler version of RLCraft (if you ask me).
I have played RLCraft, and i thought that it was a bit chaotic.
Here are some og the mods that you might need to research or just look at.
- 1. Minecolonies
Minecolonies is a mod that allows you to make your own city (Hereafter named as a colony). The majority of structures in this mod is medieval/fantasy themed, but there is also a futuristic buildstyle if you would rather build in a futuristic buildstyle
- 2. The Betweenlands
A mod that makes a, additional dimension which is located in a ginormous swamp. In the swamp you will find a bloody amount of aggressive creatures (some include: Swamp hags, Evil fish that will eat you on sight, a, knockoff crocodile, Poisonous clouds, frogs, Strange slimes with craniums and a whole lot of funny and interactive bossfights.
Plus, a bunch of other creatures, I didn’t cover.
- 3. Ice and Fire (dragons in a whole new light
Ice and Fire mainly ad dragons to the game, but they also ad Sirens, Sea serpents, Myrmex (giant ants), and many more
- 4. The Twillight Forest
As The Betweenlands The Twilight Forest ad a new dimension. This dimension on the other hand is a giant forest in the twilight (no not the movie (I GODDAMN hate that movie)). This dimension has a lot of bossfights and you play it a bit like a singleplayer quest game. In order to get to the next bossfight, you need to defeat the boss you are at (if you try to go out and kill the other boss, the game will simply stop you from doing that.
5. Biomes O´ plenty
Biomes O´ plenty is a biome mod (Oooh you guessed it by looking at the name, bloody me). The reason I added this particular biome mod, is because It is quite vanilla. (And it has a, addon that allows it to have dynamic trees ´.
- 6. Spartan Weaponry
Spartan weaponry ad a bunch of new weapons that include (but is not limited to): Halberds, Rapiers, Sabers, Greatswords Crossbows and many more. (Seriously MANY more).
- 7. Mowzies mobs
Mowzies mobs ad a lot of extremely high quality mobs to Promathus. If you want to know more, I suggest that you se a guide online.
- 8. Electroblobs Wizardry
Electroblobs wizardry is a very simple magic mod that allows the user to canalise magic spells through wands (I highly suggest that you watch a tutorial about this mod).
Mods that didn’t make it on to the list (But is still quite important):
Quality tools
Chisel
Infernal mobs
Better Foliage
Dynamic trees (the vanilla Minecraft and three addons for separately: Biomes O´ plenty, The Twilight Forest and Quark).
A whole lot more mods of which the majority of is performance enhancing mods
(Just check the files).

BTW: This modpack is designed to be played at a server. I play it on my server with my friends.
