Project Zombie Escape is a different kind of Minecraft zombie apocalypse modpack.
The goal is not simply to survive for as long as possible.

Your goal is to escape the zombie apocalypse.

Explore a dangerous world, search abandoned buildings, collect weapons, ammunition, armor and supplies, complete quests, recruit companions and prepare yourself for the final extraction.

The longer you stay alive, the more dangerous the world becomes.

🔥 WHAT MAKES PROJECT ZOMBIE ESCAPE DIFFERENT?

Project Zombie Escape is built around progression and a real ending.

You are not just surviving endless waves of zombies with no objective.

You need to:

• explore the world
• loot buildings and dangerous areas
• find firearms and ammunition
• collect armor and survival supplies
• complete quests
• earn Zombie Coins
• buy powerful rewards
• recruit Human Companions
• survive encounters with hostile bandits
• prepare the equipment needed for extraction
• survive the final rescue event
• escape

🔫 WEAPONS & COMBAT

The modpack features a large variety of firearms through TaCZ and compatible addons.

Weapons and ammunition are important resources, so you need to explore and loot carefully.

Zombies are not the only danger either.

Hostile bandits can appear in the world and attack you with firearms, making exploration even more dangerous.

🧍 CHOOSE YOUR STARTING CLASS

At the beginning of your journey, you can choose between different starting classes.

Each class gives you different equipment and can completely change how your adventure begins.

Some classes focus on firearms, others on melee combat, healing, survival or special weapons.

Choose carefully and find the playstyle that works best for you.

🌍 CHOOSE YOUR START AREA

You can also choose where you want to begin your adventure.

Different starting areas can give you completely different experiences depending on the biome and surrounding world generation.

With support for Vanilla biomes, Biomes O’ Plenty and The Lost Cities, every world can feel different.

🏙️ EXPLORE THE APOCALYPSE

The world is filled with abandoned areas, cities, structures and dangerous places to explore.

Search buildings for useful supplies and prepare your base before the situation gets worse.

You may find:

• weapons
• ammunition
• food
• armor
• crafting materials
• quest items
• survival equipment
• rare loot

Exploration is one of the most important parts of progression.

🧟 ZOMBIES & HORDES

Zombies are everywhere.

Large hordes can appear and quickly overwhelm an unprepared player.

Some zombies can also break through certain defenses such as wooden doors and glass, meaning a simple house will not always keep you safe.

As time passes, enemies can become more difficult, so preparation becomes increasingly important.

🤝 HUMAN COMPANIONS

You do not have to survive alone.

You can recruit Human Companions and give them compatible TaCZ firearms.

If they have the correct ammunition in their inventory, they can:

• detect hostile enemies
• shoot enemies
• reload their weapons
• consume ammunition
• help defend you and your base

Build your own small survival group or face the apocalypse alone.

💀 BANDITS

The apocalypse is not only filled with zombies.

Hostile bandits roam the world and can attack players using firearms.

You never know when you might encounter them, so staying alert while exploring is important.

📜 QUESTS & PROGRESSION

Project Zombie Escape includes its own custom quest system.

Complete quests and progress through different chapters while working toward your final objective.

Quests can reward you with Zombie Coins, which are used in the custom shop.

🪙 ZOMBIE COINS & REWARDS

Zombie Coins are earned through gameplay and quests.

Use them to purchase randomized reward tiers:

Rare

Epic

Legendary

These rewards can contain useful and powerful items that help you progress further into the apocalypse.

🚁 THE FINAL EXTRACTION

Eventually, you will need to prepare for the most important mission of the modpack.

Extraction.

Craft the required equipment, including the Satellite Antenna and Control Switch, gather the required components and activate the rescue signal.

But activating the signal comes with a price.

The signal attracts a massive number of zombies.

Once extraction begins, you must survive the event while the rescue operation is completed.

If you die or fail during the mission, the extraction fails.

If you survive until the end...

YOU ESCAPED.

That is the true ending of Project Zombie Escape.

There is no single correct way to survive.

You can:

• build a fortified base
• explore cities
• travel between biomes
• collect powerful weapons
• complete quests
• recruit companions
• fight bandits
• prepare slowly
• or rush toward extraction

⚠️ DEVELOPMENT NOTICE

Project Zombie Escape is still actively being developed.

The modpack is already playable, but there may still be bugs, balancing issues, missing polish or other problems that will be improved in future updates.

Multiplayer has not been fully tested yet.
It should work, but unexpected issues may still occur when playing with other people.
