Project to the Stars
Project to the Stars is a large-scale Minecraft technology and adventure modpack built around one central idea: every major system is connected.
From your first wooden tools to advanced GregTech machinery and eventually launching into space, your progression is designed as one interconnected journey. Technology, magic, exploration, automation, power generation, resource processing, and space engineering are not separate paths — they work together through carefully designed quests and recipes.
The main progression is centered around GregTech Modern and Gregicality: Rocketry, supported by a wide range of technology and magic mods including Create and its many addons, Mekanism, Thermal, Applied Energistics 2, Immersive Engineering, Extreme Reactors, Ars Nouveau, Blood Magic, EvilCraft, and The Twilight Forest.
Build Your Way to the Stars
The ultimate goal of Project to the Stars is to take your technology from simple machines and basic automation all the way to advanced space exploration.
GregTech Modern provides the backbone of the technological progression. Instead of simply crafting the strongest machines as soon as you obtain the necessary materials, players are encouraged to build increasingly sophisticated production chains. Resources have to be processed, machines have to be powered, and infrastructure has to be expanded as new technological tiers become available.
With Gregicality: Rocketry, this technological journey eventually reaches beyond the Overworld. Rockets, advanced infrastructure, resource requirements, and space-oriented progression give the player a long-term objective to work toward.
The result is a progression where reaching space feels like an achievement built from everything you have constructed before it.
Technology Meets Magic
Project to the Stars does not limit progression to technology.
Magic systems from Ars Nouveau, Blood Magic, and EvilCraft are integrated into the wider progression, creating an unusual combination of industrial engineering and magical experimentation.
Instead of having a completely isolated "magic chapter" that has nothing to do with your factory, magical resources and mechanics can become part of your overall technological journey.
This creates a distinctive atmosphere where advanced machinery can exist alongside magical rituals, supernatural resources, and arcane automation.
You might spend one part of your progression designing an enormous industrial processing facility, then turn to magical systems to obtain or produce something required for your next technological breakthrough.
One Unified Progression
The defining feature of Project to the Stars is the way everything fits together.
Create is not just a Create section.
GregTech is not just a GregTech section.
Magic is not just a separate magic progression.
Space is not just an endgame dimension.
The mods are designed to contribute to a common progression.
Your factory produces the components required by your technology. Your technology enables better resource processing. Better processing enables larger factories. Larger factories require better power generation and logistics. Advanced storage and autocrafting allow you to manage increasingly complex production chains. Exploration and magic provide additional tools and resources. Eventually, all of this infrastructure contributes toward the ultimate objective: reaching the stars.
The Chronos Nexus
There is only one true objective in Project to the Stars:
Craft the Chronos Nexus.
Everything else is preparation.
The factories you build, the dimensions you explore, the machines you automate, the energy systems you engineer, the magical powers you master, and the journey into space all serve a single purpose — gathering the knowledge, materials, technology, and power required to create the Chronos Nexus, the ultimate artifact of the entire modpack.
The Chronos Nexus is not an item you simply craft at the end of a quest line. It represents the culmination of everything you have accomplished throughout your world.
The Chronos Nexus is the ultimate and final goal of Project to the Stars.
Its creation marks the completion of the technological, magical, industrial, and exploratory progression of the modpack.
Every system ultimately feeds into this objective.
Every major quest brings you closer.
Every factory exists to produce something necessary.
Every technological tier unlocks another piece of the puzzle.
Every expedition can provide something you need.
And every challenge is another step toward the final artifact.
The entire world you have built becomes part of one enormous machine dedicated to a single purpose:
to create the Chronos Nexus.
