First of know that you will die. Its almost sure.
Starvation, drowning, mobs breaking through your base. Zombie pigmen if ever you reach the nether. Everything is out to kill you.
Sleeping is disabled (bed still set respawn point).
The pack in general is low tech. With the most advanced things being mob farms stuff and storage mods.

Quests are currently in the work and only a small amount of them are released with the beta.
Optifine should work but I don't offer support if you have it installed. If you encounter a bug disable optifine first.
