Project Golden

Welcome to Project Golden

      This project is supposed to be a pack built around my favorite mods you'd find in other packs. I also intend it to be a nice beginner pack to help guide and learn about some of the most popular mods you'll find in many other packs.

Exploration

      You'll find a whole list of updated structures with yung's structure overhaul and added dungeons from Dungeon Crawl. Oh and don't forget about the dimensions you'll be able to explore like The Ather, Twilight Forest, Blue Skies, Ad Astra (Space?), and more to fulfill your exploration desires. Of course all these places have loot, relics, and artifacts for you to discover and use to explore and fight many new bosses from cataclysm and other mods.

Tech

      Oh yes and there's tech for you to automate different mundane tasks and stretch different resources farther and the normal methods. One of the biggest additions is mekanism with the ability to build nuclear and fission reactors to generate insane amounts of power. There are other tech mods that both are meant to support and give more options and creativity for automation like enderio, create, AE2, powa, and more.

Building

      Building has gotten an overhaul too with some gadgets to help in the building process like construction wands and building gadgets. There are a few mods that add new block variants and connected textures. Some of these mods are quark, chipped, chiseled, supplementaries, and macaw’s lights and lamps.

Mobs

      There are new mobs for you to find and build a zoo. Two of the biggest ones are living things and Alex's mobs. These two mods specifically add real world animals with a few having useful traits and or being aggressive. Speaking of aggressive mobs there are several mods that add new and dangerous mobs like ice and fire, luminous monsters, creeper overhaul, enderman overhaul, and mowzie’s mobs to name a few. Also some cosmetic mods too for you to find and explore.

There are several more elements for you to explore and discover. I hope you’ll be able to play and enjoy my pack as it grows and becomes more of a finished project.

      Unfortunately this pack is still under development and is not a finished project. It certainly is playable with the core main mods implemented. However a lot of the beginner elements that I've described are missing as I'm working through a playtest to plan a good roadmap while playing and advancing through the mods.

Features to look for in the next Major Update

Currently the next major update will consist of quests and some config changes.
