Welcome to Project E.D.E.N., a story-driven Minecraft technology modpack designed for players who want to discover the world of modded Minecraft, even with little or no experience.

Guided by an artificial intelligence known as E.D.E.N., you will embark on a technological adventure where every discovery brings you closer to complete autonomy.

Your objective is simple: learn how to use technology, build increasingly advanced systems, and uncover the mysteries of the world around you.

Technology mods can be overwhelming when you're discovering them for the first time.

Project E.D.E.N. aims to make that learning experience easier, more accessible, and more enjoyable.

Instead of leaving you alone with dozens of unfamiliar machines and complicated systems, the modpack is designed around a guided questbook that progressively introduces different technologies.

The long-term goal is to provide:

• Progressive challenges that encourage you to experiment and apply what you've learned.

If you're already familiar with technology mods, you can progress at your own pace, experiment with automation, and focus on discovering the story behind E.D.E.N.

Whether you're learning your first machines or building complex automated factories, the narrative adventure offers something to discover regardless of your experience level.

Project E.D.E.N. aims to remain relatively lightweight compared to larger technology modpacks.

Rather than including hundreds of unrelated mods, it focuses on a carefully selected collection of technologies that complement each other.

The goal is to offer a rich technological experience without unnecessary complexity, while keeping the modpack accessible to a wider range of players.

Actual performance will depend on your hardware, world complexity, and automation setups.

An artificial intelligence named E.D.E.N. will accompany you throughout your journey, introducing new objectives, guiding your discoveries, and helping you develop your technological capabilities.

Your adventure begins with the fundamentals of survival and gradually expands into advanced energy production, digital storage, resource processing, and complex automation.

As you progress, new possibilities will emerge, and the world around you may reveal more than you expected.

Explore advanced machinery, ore processing, energy production, and chemical systems. Progress toward increasingly powerful industrial automation.

Learn how to generate, store, and distribute energy using different generators, energy cells, and wireless power systems.

Discover an alternative approach to resource generation by breeding specialized bees and automating their production.

🧪 Early Access — Beta Version

Project E.D.E.N. is currently in BETA.

The modpack is playable, but it is still under active development. This first public version is intended to test the progression, gather feedback, and identify areas that need improvement.

• The main quest progression and narrative structure.
• Questlines covering the major technology mods.
• Custom recipes, items, and progression elements.
• A playable technological adventure from the early game to the endgame.

🚧 What's Still in Development

• Quest balancing: Some objectives, requirements, and rewards may need adjustments.
• Quest corrections: Certain quests may contain mistakes, inconsistencies, or progression issues.
• Detailed explanations: Many of the planned tutorials and explanations have not yet been written.
• Practical examples: Step-by-step examples demonstrating how to build and use different systems are still missing.
• General polish: Gameplay balance, presentation, and quality-of-life improvements will continue throughout development.

Important: Although the modpack is designed for beginners, the complete beginner-friendly learning experience is not yet available in this beta. Some knowledge of the included mods, or occasional external research, may still be necessary.

The main objective of this beta is to establish and test the foundations before expanding the educational content.

🎮 How Should You Play?

Project E.D.E.N. is primarily designed for a relaxed, solo-friendly survival experience.

There is no need to rush. Take your time, experiment with machines, explore different technologies, and follow the questbook as your main guide.

The progression combines guided objectives with the freedom to develop your own base and automation systems.

👥 Multiplayer Support

Multiplayer is possible, but Project E.D.E.N. is primarily designed around a single-player narrative experience.

You can explore the technologies and build automated systems with friends. However, the story and quest progression have been designed with a solo player in mind.

Please note: Multiplayer has not yet been tested during development. Quest synchronization, progression, and other multiplayer-specific features may not work as intended.

Multiplayer improvements and compatibility testing may be considered as development continues.
