Project 05: Clockwork is a long-term Create-centered experience built around engineering, exploration, and the feeling of inhabiting a vast world waiting to be discovered.

Built around Create, Create Aeronautics, and Simulated, Clockwork transforms Minecraft into a massive interconnected sandbox where infrastructure, movement, and discovery shape the experience. Whether you establish sprawling industrial networks, construct airships capable of crossing entire continents, or settle into a quiet valley between mountain ranges, the world offers space for every playstyle.

Unlike progression-heavy expert packs, Clockwork focuses on freedom and longevity. Progress is driven by curiosity, cooperation, and the expansion of infrastructure rather than strict questlines or artificial progression gates. The pack expands upon Minecraft’s natural gameplay loop instead of replacing it, preserving the familiar sandbox feeling while introducing deeper mechanics and systems for those who seek them.

A World Built for Travel

Clockwork’s world generation is designed to encourage movement, persistence, and large-scale exploration.

  • Large continents and overhauled terrain generation
  • Expanded structures, dungeons, settlements, and ruins
  • Multiple methods of travel via trains, aircraft, ships, and custom Create contraptions
  • Decorative and immersive building options
  • Large-scale boss encounters through Cataclysm and Bosses of Mass Destruction

Structures and points of interest generate further apart, encouraging players to build transportation networks and truly engage with the scale of the world. Steam engines roaring through valleys, cargo exchanged between distant settlements, and massive flying constructs crossing the skies become part of everyday life as players slowly reshape the landscape through industry and exploration.

Atmosphere and Immersion

Clockwork places strong emphasis on immersion and environmental storytelling through:
