Project Afterlight is a skyblock progression pack for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge, combining industrial automation, magical crafting, renewable resources, and optional adventures beyond your island.

Begin with essential resources, dependable food, and room to build. Progress through connected crafting recipes that give materials from different mods a shared purpose—from early Steel and Plastic to advanced machine frames, digital storage, and late-game transmutation.

Five chapters guide your journey

• Starting Out: Establish your island and produce essential resources through Ex Deorum.
• First Machines: Develop power, Steel, Plastic, and your first industrial machines.
• Working Together: Connect AE2 processors, Ars Nouveau essences, and industrial materials to unlock advanced manufacturing.
• Advanced Crafting: Reach the End, develop End Steel and Draconic materials, and advance through Extended Crafting.
• Afterlight: Unlock late-game ProjectE and craft the Afterlight Beacon, a custom cosmetic trophy marking completion of the campaign.

Build your island your way

Expand through Mystical Agriculture, Productive Bees, Botany Pots, storage networks, and automation. Explore magic through Ars Nouveau, Forbidden and Arcanus, Iron’s Spells, and additional optional branches.

Build anything from a compact workshop to a sprawling floating settlement with Chisel, Chipped, Rechiseled, Macaw’s mods, and a broad selection of decorative tools.

Create, Create Aeronautics, Oritech, Psi, Occultism, and space travel are optional. Enjoy their dedicated quest branches without needing them to finish the main campaign.

Built for solo play and friends

Choose a small grassy island or a classic Skyfactory-style tree and Dirt block. Create separate team islands, share quest progress through FTB Teams, and protect your builds with FTB Chunks.

Follow the five main chapters or explore the individual mod chapters at your own pace. Completing the campaign does not require completing every quest.

Development status: Project Afterlight is an early public release. Custom recipes, quests, and skyblock access are implemented, with balance, performance, and multiplayer playtesting ongoing.
