Use Create to build large train networks, electricity factories or a huge underground drill!
Use Mekanism to advance far into nuclear technology and create suits of armor that make you nigh invincible!
Use the Thermal Series for a good hit of technology without having to dedicate years of your life for a single processed chunk of iron!
And use Ars Nouveau for all of your magicing needs, craft spells! Make armor and even magical automation is an option!
With these core mods, and many others built around the modpack, a magical, industrial oil processing plant on mars is possible! (You can still make one on earth I won't judge)
