A 400+ mod Forge 1.20.1 modpack where you must conquer every dimension, craft your way through six progression tiers, and complete a full quest book to reach the final Primordial Singularity.

What is this pack?

PRISM is a long-form progression modpack built around one idea: no shortcuts. Technology, magic and exploration mods are tied together by custom crafting chains, so every machine you want to build is unlocked by resources from the tier before it, and every tier requires resources from a new dimension.

Expect a journey of months, not days. Whether you know a lot about modded Minecraft or almost nothing, the quest book guides you step by step.

Key features

Six progression tiers

Each tier follows the same chain: alloy, plate, circuit, machine casing.

• To make the alloy of the next tier, you need the plate, circuit and casing of the previous one, plus new ores from a new dimension.
• Core machines of each mod (Create, Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, Refined Storage, Immersive Engineering, Botania, Ars Nouveau and more) require the casing of their tier.
• Tiers are tracked by stages that are only granted by completing quests.

Every dimension is mandatory

Each dimension gives you a Dimensional Fragment, crafted from resources found only there. Higher tiers need fragments from several worlds, and the final goal needs all 13.

• Nether, Aether, Mining Dimension, Tropicraft, Alfheim, Eden, Iceika, The End, the Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury and advanced DivineRPG dimensions.
• Later dimensions are locked behind tier stages, so you must be ready before you go.

Ores spread across the universe

The Overworld only contains basic ores. Rare metals and gems are distributed across other dimensions, so you have to travel and mine everywhere to progress.

A complete quest book

• 29 chapters and 485 quests, all in English.
• A mandatory Main Progression line that explains where to find every resource and unlocks each tier.
• Optional guides for beginners: getting started, food, building, technology, magic and adventure.
• Step-by-step introductions to many of the mods in the pack.

Custom skills mod

Level up Mining, Woodcutting, Excavation, Farming, Combat and Fishing.

• XP, levels and bonuses per skill.
• A leaderboard (press J) with player and operator views.
• Works together with the RPG class and skill trees of the pack.

Custom backpack progression

• Backpacked is your early game bag.
• Sophisticated Backpacks unlocks later, with its upgrades arriving just before Applied Energistics 2 so it never replaces storage networks.

The final goal: the Primordial Singularity

Craft three cores (technology, arcane and dimensional) to create the Primordial Singularity. Break it into Creative Shards and use them to craft creative-tier items from many mods.

Multiplayer

Designed for servers: claims and teams are supported through FTB mods, and the skills mod includes admin tools for operators. Every player must install the pack, including the custom skills mod.

Installation

1. Install the pack through the CurseForge app or any compatible launcher.
2. Allocate at least 8 GB of RAM (10 GB recommended).
3. Create a new world: ore distribution and progression stages are set at world creation.
4. Open the quest book and follow the Main Progression chapter.

Tips for new players

• Use JEI (press R or U on an item) to see every recipe.
• Read the quests: they tell you exactly what to craft next and where to find it.
• Claim your base with FTB Chunks before building big.
• Be patient, this pack is built to last.
