This update focuses on refining the player experience by resolving critical stability bugs, improving death mechanics, and adding highly requested modular features for better interaction with the environment.

In Prion Infection: Whispers From Within, managing the infection is a race against time, and we've just updated the survival mechanics to give you more options for staying alive in the wasteland.

🍯 The New Cure: Milk and Honey

Previously, you had to rely heavily on rare items like Golden Apples or complex chemical mixtures to hold back the prion's progress. With this update, Milk and Honey now serves as a functional "Natural Cleanse" for the infection.

• How it works: When consumed together (or as a craftable mixture, depending on your latest config), Milk and Honey will now fully cleanse the infection, mirroring the logic of a Golden Apple.

• Why the change? While Golden Apples remain the "gold standard" for instant recovery and regeneration, the Milk and Honey combination provides a more sustainable survival loop for players who have invested time into agriculture and beekeeping. It allows you to save your gold for high-tier equipment while still having a reliable way to purge the virus after a close encounter with the infected.

🍎 Golden Apple vs. Milk & Honey

While both now serve as a cure, they fit different roles in your inventory:

• Golden Apple: Best for combat situations. It cures the infection instantly while providing Absorption and Regeneration to keep you fighting.

• Milk & Honey: Best for post-combat recovery. It cleanses the infection logic entirely, but without the extra defensive buffs, making it a "pure" cure that requires you to be in a relatively safe spot to consume.

➕ Added Mods

• GoProne: Adds the ability to crawl and prone at will, allowing for better stealth and navigation through tight spaces in the wasteland.

• Corpse: Ensures your items are safely stored in a lootable body upon death, preventing stressful item despawns during difficult runs.

• Better Ping Display: Replaces the standard signal bars with a numerical millisecond display for precise connection tracking.

• AppleSkin: Provides essential hunger and saturation information directly on the HUD to help manage survival more effectively.

• Moonlight Lib: Added as a core library to support enhanced world mechanics and future feature expansions.

➖ Removed Mods

• More Chest Variants: Removed due to persistent stability issues and identified bugs that were causing world-save inconsistencies.

• More Chest Variants (BOP Patch): Removed to ensure clean compatibility now that the base chest variant system has been decommissioned.

• Manifest Synchronization: Updated the internal manifest to reflect the new mod list and ensure all IDs are correctly mapped for Forge 1.20.1.

• Stability Optimization: Eliminated block-rendering errors and potential crashes by stripping out the unstable chest variant code.

• Movement Mechanics: Calibrated the new proning system to ensure smooth transitions when moving through 1x1 gaps.
