There may be no potato mods but there are some performance mods, such as embeddium, and quality of life mods, such as Xaero's maps, to improve the Pixelmon experience in my way.
KEEP IN MIND: Version 1.x is in 1.16.5, version 2.x is in 1.20.x but is subject to change when that version of Pixelmon is out of beta. This matters in case you want to update the modpack but accidentally go too far ahead which can mess with data. I will be updating both versions since 1.20.x is in beta but 1.16.5 is stable.
