Plushie's Power Pack is a relatively light-weight (under 100 detected mods, under 80 packed mods, under 50 non-compatibility/balance mods) modpack with a focus on a versatile and wide-ranging set of options for progression. There is no linearity or hard set paths, simply the tools to progress in ways that interest you. The vast majority (hopefully working towards all) of mods that implement their own power systems are capable of having their energy converted into another mod's, however this will not always be the most efficient way. IC2, Immersive Engineering, Thermal Series, Redstone Flux, Applied Energistics, Tinkers, Buildcraft, Mekanism and more are all available and can be interconnected in many ways to optimize your systems, no matter your goals.
This mod is focused on multiplayer, and thus most optimizations and additions in the future will be focused towards ensuring the multiplayer experience is diverse and stable. That said, singleplayer is also tested and no notable issues should occur. Some functionality focused towards MP may be useless in SP, or function incorrectly or not at all. This will be limited where possible, but it is likely to occur.
This mod was first and foremost designed to function on a server using a 1:2000 scale topographical overworld map of the earth. While this is in no way necessary to experience the potential of this pack, it should be taken into account that some choices were made with this in mind.
Most updates will focus on balancing and further integrating the systems of various mods. Very little major content, if any, will be added beyond launch. This pack has gone through many iterations before launch and we are happy with the amount of content and diversity this pack allows in its current state. We have very few testers so while it's quite possible there are still some issues with the pack, it is in a state where we feel comfortable launching the pack to allow ease of access for more of our friends to join our (private) server, and therefore increase the amount of people we have testing. Tl;dr, the pack is considered to be released, but will likely be updated frequently, especially early on, as we get more information on what needs to be done.
-Warning for those using Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders: There is a minor conflict between this shaderpack and the built-in shaders of the Localized Weather and Storms mod. I am still in the process of identifying this issue, and it has not been solved on launch. For most users (our testing pool is fairly small so take it for what it's worth) the weather mod's clouds may only occasionally appear. This means that invisible tornadoes and cyclones can hit. Tornados and Cyclones are enabled by default, but if you use SEUS, it is up to you to decide if the benefits of the weather mod are worth the conflict. The Weather mod is highly configurable with the button at the top of the ESC menu.
The weather mod works with optifine without issue. No other shaderpacks have been tested. Use at your own risk.-
