Many keys aren't bound by default to avoid having multiple things happen when you press a button, use the search bar to quickly find any keys you need to bind. 

As you get further from spawn, enemies get more dangerous. This should be easy to tell with the health bar, but I'm warning you!! They also will drop more xp because of this.
