Description
[A voyage of adventure with tales of magic and extraordinary sights...]
Take a chance and roam the lands with a few friends and a trusty steed or two (unless you find yourself often alone...which is also an adventure nonetheless...*ahem*) and traverse the lands and watch the seasons change over time! So sit back, and have a Slice of Pie...
This pack was designed with the intention of being centered around "immersion + travel + exploration".
How to Play:
When you first join your world, you'll notice a few things: you can choose your class! Aaaand you cannot craft [crafting tables] nor [wooden tools]. This is why you will have a [Starter Capsule]! And also (where are all the animals!)
You will need to gather resources before you start on your big journey (or don't and scavange the lands as a thief!)
We recommend making tents and bedrolls/sleeping bags first after you have secured your food supply!
!NEW UPDATE!
Players will now spawn in a starter village as structures are a bit hard to locate!
!!! MODPACK IS STILL WIP !!!
What to expect from future updates?
A Welcome Player Guide book! As there are a plethora of mods to play with, why not have a nice little introduction!
Quests and Rewards!
We also plan to add an in-game shop using coin currency from the Numismatic mod that you can buy items from other dimensions, or simply the unobtainable goods.
How can I further my experience?:
With a mod or two, and a configuration here and there, you can make this pack feel more realistic. (I recommend downloading Notepad++ to prevent any text files from saving incorrectly but Visual Studios works just as well.)
Changing the length of day:
For singleplayer AND if your cheats are off (you must already have a world created!):
Open your modpack files and select [saves] -> [(your world)] -> [serverconfig] -> [timecontrol-server.toml] -> open with Notepad++(or some other reliable app) -> [(change day speeds and night speeds whatever you like. ex; day_length_seconds = 7200 ; night_length_seconds = 3600)]
For multiplayer(for server hosts):
The Time Control mod allows for in-game commands: "/timecontrol day_length_seconds = [desired length in seconds]"
Don't want your (SWEM)horse to be "too realistic"?:
If you changed your day length, you will notice that your horse is often needy and hungry and thristy (as all real horses are) but it you feel the need to change it, here's what you can do: select [saves] -> [(your world)] -> [swem-server.toml] -> [(change settings to whatever you perfer. We recommend as follows: needFood = false ; needWater = true ; poopTick = false ; peeTick = false)]
There are also other settings you could change to better your experience; this is your adventure and you choose what you desire!
As a short disclaimer, we do not own any of these mods (nor Minecraft, obviously)
