Tools tab
- A new tab in the Skills screen next to Paths and Class Skills. Earn Tool Points from quests and XP, then spend them to unlock utility and tech mods: Waystones, Storage Drawers, Sophisticated Backpacks, Refined Storage, Mekanism, Industrial Foregoing, Powah, Ender IO, Mystical Agriculture, Productive Bees, FTB Ultimine and more (25 in all).
- Locked mods can't be crafted, and their questlines appear once you unlock them. Teams share one Tool Point pool.

New mods
- Powah, Ender IO, Mystical Agriculture, Productive Bees, Hostile Neural Networks, Mob Grinding Utils, Dark Utilities, Building Gadgets, Mining Gadgets, Tom's Simple Storage, Tool Belt, Simple Magnets, Easy Elevators, Critters and Companions.
- Libraries and extras they need: Collective, Cucumber Library, GuideME, YetAnotherConfigLib, Nyctography, Pig Pen Cipher, Runelic.

Quest book
- New Welcome chapter, plus new Ender IO, Powah, Mystical Agriculture and Productive Bees chapters.
- Kitchen and Foundry, Tavern and Battle Axe, and When Dungeons Arise are reorganised into clear questlines, and every chapter follows the same layout: the main path first, side branches beside it.
- The book opens zoomed out so a whole questline fits on screen.
- Every page has the Peaks & Talons frame (eagles over the mountains, the gem crest and two Orduks), metallic section titles and item artwork beside each questline.
- Fixed: "The Mining System" (When Dungeons Arise) asked for a structure that never generates. It is now "The Mining Complex", so it and "Scorched Mines" can be completed.
- Fixed: "Hotter Forges" in the Trailhead now stays locked until you unlock Iron Furnaces in the Tools tab, as its description says. It is optional; the story continues without it.

Skills screen
- Paths, Class Skills and Tools share one frame, tab row and night-sky backdrop.

Mods
- Peaks & Talons Core updated to 0.4.1-beta.41.

Existing beta.7 worlds keep working. Quests already completed count toward Tool Points once.
