v1.12.7 — Optimization Is Not Optional

🗑️ The Great Purge. Mods Were Deleted. You Won't Miss Them.

We did some testing with Flare (1.12.2 spark mod) and came to a harrowing conclusion: optimization is, unfortunately, required. So we deleted the Additions mod. (Custom) Lucky Blocks are gone now because of TPS issues and a potential multiplayer crash. Rest in piss. We also purged all AE2 stuff and the SecretRooms mod. There are enough alternatives for all these mods anyway.

📈 It Runs Slightly Better Now. Slightly.

Nothing major changed, as we said, but the pack does run slightly better now. We fixed some structure separation issues and exactly 1 (one) error with the Baubles mod. Marginally fewer errors. Marginally more stable. It's fine.

🔮 Still On The List (Eventually)

We will definitely "fix" the modern textures next. The water bug too. Eventually. Note the quotation marks around the word fix, and note the word eventually. We just deleted a bunch of stuff to salvage the server TPS, let us breathe for a minute.

v1.12.7 has no (Custom) Lucky Blocks. It has no AE2. It runs slightly smoother because we nuked the things causing the TPS issues and structure errors. We will get to the textures and the water bug later. Go play it. - 67
