🚀 Performance: The Accidental Miracle

We removed a few mods. We updated a few others. We expected a standard maintenance patch. Instead, we somehow shattered a massive performance bottleneck. You can easily push 15 chunks of render distance now and it feels like 8. The recipe book loads waaayyy faster—before you even finish deciding what to craft. We have absolutely zero idea how we achieved this.

💥 Stability: Worn Horseshoes

That nasty crash that’s been haunt-dropping your client? It was Worn Horseshoes. Apparently, the latest version and our current environment were having a very violent disagreement. Rather than deleting it and making your horses walk on bare hooves like peasants, we’ve downgraded it to a stable version. We gave it a few gentle strokes instead of touching it too hard, and now it actually stays open.

🧙 The Keletu Incident: Preservation

In a sudden display of digital pyrotechnics, KELETU66666 decided to delete his entire CurseForge presence. Projects, files, existence—gone. It’s a tragedy; the man had so many great mods. Usually, this would mean these gems are lost to the void, but I am the best modpack author in the world and I have backups.

Wizardry and Fire, Wings, and Netherized (K-Edition) are now being served via Dropbox. The apocalypse was scheduled, but I didn't feel like attending.

📦 FileDirector: Manual Overrides

Because the official sources vanished into thin air, I've re-routed the downloads. If your game pauses to grab something from a mysterious Dropbox link, don't panic. It’s just me salvaging history from the wreckage of a modder's bad day.

🔮 Future Problems: To-Do List

There is a "feature" currently where falling into shallow water kills you. This is "realistic" and "logical," which makes it fundamentally un-Minecrafty. We want to fall 200 blocks into a puddle and walk away like nothing happened. I'll be looking into fixing this "physics" nonsense in a later update.

We're also scouting Twilight Tweaks to finally give the Twilight Forest a proper final boss. Because an empty castle is just a very fancy, very cold house. Expect more world gen balancing and general "stroking" of the config files soon.

v1.12.3 is faster, smoother, and vastly less explosive. Sometimes you don't need to rebuild the engine from scratch. Sometimes it just needs to be stroked nicely. - 67
