Modern Minecraft misses a lot of tricks when it comes to easy tweaks and fixes that make it more enjoyable to play, so I built this pack with two objectives in mind - optimizing performance and improving quality of life - while maintaining a near-vanilla experience.This collection was created in conjunction with a private server that is lightly modded with the same goals in mind. Both the modpack and the server are compatible with vanilla and contain essentially only UI, networking, and performance improvements.

I have included custom settings for mods and for the game to give players a quick start into what I believe to be the best experience.

Some more noticeable highlights -

• Hide Hands - Hides secondary hand when holding certain items that you might want equipped but don't want to take up screen space (spyglass, shield)
• Horse Stats Vanilla - Shows horse stats in their inventory screen
• Inventory HUD+ - Adds an overlay of your full inventory and gear to the main UI
• Inventory Sorting - adds a button to sort inventories and chests
• MiniHUD - heavily customized settings to display useful info in the top right. Also, press f7 for a basic light level/mob spawn overlay
• REI - searchable database of all items in the inventory screen, press R on an item to show it's recipe, press U to show recipes it is used in
• Sodium - Graphics overhaul greatly improves performance and replaces graphics settings screen
• ToroHealth Damage Indicators - shows mob health bars
• Where Is My Stuff - coordinates on death screen

All that said, essentially I'm hoping to ease the modding process for less experienced players, and open the door to a much better baseline minecraft experience.
