Patience aims to slow down the systematic nature of vanilla.
Minecraft these days tends to lend itself to the same steps: making a base, getting maxed-out armour, killing the dragon, and "finishing" the server in two weeks.
While I don't think there's anything wrong with this, it's exactly what I do every time I start a server.
I'm sick of it and want to provide an alternative to players with the same problem as myself.
To combat this, Patience brings in mechanics from more hardcore survival games, such as Temperature, and Thirst, as well as expanding on the variety of enemies, late-game content, and increasing the difficulty of getting from one point of the game to another.
