2.0.5 BETA TEST FIXES

This BETA update focuses on loot and quest reward improvements, crafting performance, progression consistency, HUD refinement, and several smaller fixes across the pack.

Crafting, Progression & Performance

  • Fixed an experience duplication exploit.
  • Changed the Salvaging Table recipe to use Stone tools instead of Iron tools.
  • Changed the Smoker crafting requirement from Agriculture to Smithing to match the rest of its progression.
  • Disabled REMI craftable stack-group processing to help reduce Crafting Table inventory and crafting lag.
    • Crafting performance will continue to be monitored in case further changes are needed.
  • Removed Visual Workbench as part of the same Crafting Table performance investigation.
  • Added Trowel.
    • Allows blocks from the player's inventory to be placed randomly for easier textured building.

HUD & Interface

  • Updated the player HUD with a more compact layout.
    • Reduced unnecessary screen space while keeping the existing information available.

Loot, Quests & World

  • Fixed invalid Scholar and Cartographer rewards/trades referencing removed XP Storage and Supplementaries items.
  • Fixed empty upper chests in Savanna Archer village structures.
  • Updated repeatable Quest Book reward tiers to match the actual quest difficulty system:
    • Easy
    • Moderate
    • Challenging
    • Hard
    • Very Hard
    • Extreme
  • Updated repeatable quest introductions and other remaining references that still used the old Common / Uncommon / Rare / Epic / Mythic / Ancient reward terminology.
  • Fixed several repeatable quests unlocking under the wrong difficulty introduction.
  • Fixed repeatable quests that were using reward tables from the wrong difficulty tier.
  • Updated several Quest Book reward pools for better usefulness and progression consistency.
  • Implemented another major loot table refinement pass.
    • Improved overall reward diversity and reduced repetitive loot.
    • Corrected several structures using inappropriate loot themes or progression tiers.
    • Improved class equipment distribution and the balance between armour and weapon rewards.
    • Improved Overworld, Nether, and End loot progression separation.
    • Improved enchanted-book and potion distribution.
    • Split shared loot tables where structures of different Dungeon Difficulty tiers previously used the same reward ceiling.
    • Improved room-specific loot for libraries, armouries, laboratories, prisons, sewers, military rooms, treasure rooms, and other specialised areas.
    • Fixed missing or invalid loot routes that could result in incorrect or empty chests.
