This is a Modpack with every mod I could think to add to it. It is not made to be balanced. I'm not sure which way it will lean though.
So what does it do? Well, it makes Minecraft more dangerous. The overworld is a dangerous place. At night, it gets so dark you can't see yourself, but the monsters still see you. Animal farming is a lot harder, as the Parasites get stronger. Can You survive?
