Targeted for Multiplayer. Provides a renewed experience for Vanilla Minecraft. Different Origins provide interesting twists to Minecraft's Vanilla gameplay allowing for fresh challenges and fun with friends while still utilizing Vanilla Minecraft as the core gameplay. Mojang's core design principles and balancing for Origins were taken into account while curating the mods for this modpack. Mods must enhance or add to core vanilla gameplay and mechanics (avoiding repetition or redundant additions). Some mods are added and configured to tailor to these principles.

Configurations for Origins are done through datapacks. Join the official Origins Discord server (https://discord.gg/DPKdmapg) for user made datapacks or use wiki (https://origins.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) for self customization. May add file download for datapacks in future if more than just the Elytrian balancing is required or enough demand.

Many non-core mods included are only partially enabled. The partially enabled mods:

BetterEnd: armor and tool sets disabled
Charm: lots of changes, check config file after downloading the modpack
Netherite Plus: netherite elytra disabled (balance for the Elytrian origin), some additional arbitrary changes
Dragonloot: reduction in defense points for balance, disabled attaching elytra to dragon chestplate through KubeJS (Elytrian balancing is done through datapacks which is not included in modpack)
