Oz Experiments is all about trying new and different ways to power everything. Even in some cases yourself!
Players can start from the simplest water mills from Immersive Engineering or grow renewable energy resources like Canola Crops from Actually Additions for early game energy. If a magic start is more your style you could tap into the arcane with Blood Magic, or make the world work for you with Botania or Roots!
Progressing from the early stages gives you options for more renewable energy. From Forestry's Ethanol fueled engines to harnessing the power of the sun with Solar Panels from Mekanism. If you do not care what happens to the world around you, you can even exploit it further with crystals from Deep Resonance or Gas Generators from Advance Generators! At this point there are even a few mods that converge the ideas of magic and tech with the new magically powered metal machines from Embers and the rituals from TSON Craft.
All of this culminates with some of the largest energy producing monsters ever to come to Minecraft with Mekanism's Fusion Reactor and Draconic Evolution's Draconic Reactor capable of producing power in the millions of RF/Tick range. With all that power available you could explore new worlds with Advanced Rocketry, modify your person with new parts with Cyberware. or even create your own Dimensions with RFTools! Want a world with a green sky, lakes of molten metal and giant floating islands of Diamond? Everything is possible with enough energy!
