IMPORTANT: Use the command "/bq_admin default load" to get the updated quest list! Old worlds do not automatically get the updated quests otherwise!

Server File:

  • [0.9] And up will now ship with server file as an additional file for download.
  • Removed "Small/Light" tag, in favor of Multiplayer tag.
  • Multiplayer page added on Curse

 

Mods Updated:

  • Journeymap [5.4.0]->[5.5.2] (Claimed chunks from FTB Utilities will display on journeymap)
  • Chunk-Pregenerator [1.5.1]->[1.6.1] (fixes small memory leak)

 

Mods Removed:

  • Unidict (Being replaced by InstantUnify)
  • WanionLib (Unidict Library mod)
  • Block Drops JEI (Causes some lag, I had it in for testing and forgot to remove it)
  • Mowzie's Mobs (Biome specific + BiomesOPlenty = we never see them anyway)

 

Mods Added:

  • InstantUnify (Modded ores and ingots should never be a problem again)
  • More Overlays (Press F7 and see where mobs can spawn. F9 for chunk boundaries)
  • FTB Utilities (Chunk claiming, friends list, and over multiplayer features)
  • FTBLib (Library mod for FTB Utilities)
  • TexFix (Scrubs duplicate textures and clears up your RAM for smoother performance)
  • Worldgeneration Profiler (Profiles worldgen to locate laggy mods)

 

Config Changes:

  • Mob Griefing is back! Use FTB Utilities to claim land if you don't like explosions, and watch out for zombies breaking down wood doors!
  • All ores, ingots, dusts, etc. Unify to mekanism instantly. (Thanks to the lovely InstantUnify)
  • Biome specific ores like Zinc, now generate in all biomes. Retro-gen on as well, so expect a little lag next time you launch up a world.
  • Worldgen Profiler claims that Harvestcraft, Natura, and Quark actually cause more world gen lag than Lost Cities does.
  • Removed Harvestcraft tree worldgen (Still purchasable through the harvestcraft market block)
  • Removed overworld Natura gen (Natura nether was the original focus anyway)
  • Reduced Quark stone worldgen (Diorite, Granite, and Andisite spawn like vanilla again)
  • Overall reduced world gen time significantly.

 

Files Added:

  • Options and Optionsof file now included in a seperate "Superminimum" folder (Usefull for slower pc's, use these before launching and it should help)

 

Quest Book:

  • Most quest lines pushed to WIP with a dozen or so quests each (Rather than doing one tab at a time; I think this will give people more options.)
  • Garden quests reworked (Biomes O Plenty biomes don't spawn gardens)
  • "Welcome to Overgorwn" quest updated (Should be more informative for new players)
  • **Aluminum quests removed since aluminum does not exist apparently... Wut**
  • Bee Quest Makover! Everyone loves bees right!?
  • Tradingpost simmering comb duplicate fixed.
