This modpack offer you a chance to play the game in a diffrent way. Normaly the player is not affected by things other than hunger and health. This modpack changes that and makes the game funnier yet more challenging.
These new features will help you though the game but also give you a harder time at some points, as you in the start of the game get a designated origin which has its ups and downs.
This modpack is best played in 1.20.1 and i think you should play in that version aswell.
