{Defence Beta}
Focuses on implementing a leveling system for the Defense skill tree, as well as improving Defense based gameplay. Other skills will be worked on in future betas.
-Mod Addition: Gloves For All (Adds gloves to the Griefer armor set. Mod could eventually be used to add more gloves based on future additions.)
-Mod Addition: MmmMmmMmmMmm Target Dummy (Adds a target dummy that lets you test armor and weapons on it.)
-Mod Addition: Spartan Shields (Adds Shields meant to complement the Spartan Weaponry mod gear.)
-Mod Addition: Medieval Siege Machines (Builds upon the siege machines added last beta and even adds some that will help you defend your base from raids.)
-Mod Addition: Enhanced Visuals (Makes gameplay more immersive by adding HUD based visuals that manifest on your screen when you do certain actions.)
-Mod Addition: Item Obliterator (Allows me to remove unusable/broken items from the game, or clean item bloat that has no use in game)
-Mod Addition: Future Villager Trades Visible (This mod gives you the ability to view a villager's entire trade catalog without having to be max level. Previously you had to level up your villagers to see what item they had next level, this was rather frustrating as you could spend tons of time and emeralds on a villager only to find out they sold you nothing you wanted in the higher level trades. Works with trade cycling, but be warned once you make one trade the catalog for that villager will be locked just like before.)
-Mod Addition: Cherished Worlds: (Allows you to favorite and protect your worlds from the delete button in the world menu.) {We’ve all made that mistake before XD}
-Toolbox Addition: Added 5 new alloy armor/tool sets to the game! (Bronze, Constantan, Rose Gold, Invar, and Electrum) Meant to finally fix the inconsistency with tool and armor sets with the Spartan Weaponry mod family and modpack. One other set was added for the endgame; Platinum, this new material is found within space debris in the End. All of these materials were implemented with the skill system and progression in mind.
-Mod Removal: Rose Gold Copper Alloy Armor (Change was made because, Rose Gold was reworked and added through the Toolbox) {WARNING: All old Rose Gold items will be removed}
-Mod Removal: Rose Gold Copper Alloy Tools (Change was made because, Rose Gold was reworked and added through the Toolbox) {WARNING: All old Rose Gold items will be removed}
-Bug Fix: Warped Axe, and Leviathan blade are now part of the attack skill tree. (Forgot to add them in the combat Beta)
-Bug Fix: Golden fishing rods have been moved down to level 15 skill level from the original level 20. (Fix was to make it more inline with previous beta gold leveling changes)
-Bug Fix: Chromium can now be sold to Armorers and Masons, they are sold at the same rate as all the other mob metals.
-Bug Fix: Guard villagers no longer attack cave creepers. (You may now build underground villages without fear of cave creepers destroying it.)
-Village Guard Adjustment: All villages should now generate with 10 guards as opposed to the group of 6 that used to spawn. (Change was made to make villages more secure long enough for a player to build defenses for the village, if the player wants to make a village their home.)
-Guard Villager Change: requires level 20 Gathering to interact with guard villagers now, as opposed to level 15. (Prevents the player from taking their items or controlling them super early on.)
-Shepherd Trade Changes: Shepherds will now sell cloth armor at level 1, and steel sheers at level 3.
-Fisherman Trade Changes: Fisherman can now sell you minnows at level 2, the amount of leeches you can buy was reduced to 2 from 3 for a cost of 1 emerald. (-33%) All Turtle spawn eggs have been removed from the fishermen's trade options, this feature was intended to allow you to have turtles in your world before the introduction of Spawn Balance Utility. (They used to be extinct) {This was a long overdue change and was considered a bug after SBU was added.}
-Armorer Trade Changes: Completely changed the way the Armorers catalog generates, by compacting the items sold. (Instead of the game looking through a large list of items, it can look at pairs of items and choose one from the pair it rolled. For example you have a data array that shows iron armor and copper armor, the computer rolls and lands on iron, it then rolls to see which piece of armor from the iron matrix to give you in that category, and sets the trade up in game for that villager.) This helps dial down the trade bloat and allows more variety of unique items to be displayed in the catalog. The Armorers have been working hard, and have now begun selling more metal alloy based armors introduced in this beta; Such as Bronze Constantan, and Invar just to name a few. Heavy Shields will now be sold in various levels on armorer’s catalogs. Armorers sell blocking shields across all levels at varying qualities.
-Fletcher Trade Changes: Fletchers no longer sell the Dungeons Weaponry Longbow. (Item was removed from the game via Item Obliterator) The short bow has had its price decreased to 2 from 7 emeralds originally. (-71% Cost) and has been moved down to level 1 from 2. (Change was made due to the bow being weaker than a normal bow, and is intended to be used in the early game) The Fletchers catalog has received the same new system that compacts trade selection when generating allowing more item variety. Platinum ranged weapons were removed from the fletchers catalog. This is because Platinum is now obtainable in survival via space debris in the End; the new Metal Alloy Ranged weapons will replace the space that Platinum once filled in level 5. Gold Ranged Weapons are now sold at level 1. Removed a duplicate dispenser trade that would clog up the trade catalog occasionally.
-Tool Smith Trade Changes: added new Metal Alloy work tools to their catalog and debloated the item selection code, to bring the Tool Smiths into parity with the other gear selling villagers.
-Weapon Smith Trade Changes: Weapon Smiths have been watching the others change their catalogs, and decided they too wanted to debloat their item selection! New metal alloy weapons have been added to the trade selection, as well as the removal of the Platinum weapons for the same reasons that the fletchers did. Dynamite now costs 6 emeralds instead of 8; Bombs cost 8 emeralds rather than 12, and a new bomb was introduced to the market, the spiky bomb at the cost of 10 emeralds. Weapon Smiths sell parrying shields across all levels at varying qualities. Steel ingots are viewed as more valuable these days, the Smiths have agreed to buy 3 ingots in exchange for an emerald. (Originally it was 4 Steel for 1 Emerald)
