• Starlight - Rewrites the light engine to make it a lot faster
• Smoothboot - Uses more threads during boot
• Iris and Sodium - Enables optifine-like shaders and optimizes lots of things
• Dynamic FPS - Limits the FPS when the game is minimized
• Lithium - Optimizes lots of more things
• Hydrogen - RAM usage optimizations
• Ferritecore - Further RAM usage optimizations
• EntityCulling - "Skips rendering of hidden (tile-)entities" "there may be hundreds of (tile-)entities eating your fps while you can't even see them because they are hidden behind a wall"
• LazyDFU - "Makes the initialization of DataFixerUpper "lazy", making the game start more quickly"
• Enhancedblockentities "Reduce FPS lag with block entities"

QOL (Quality of Life)

• Antighost - Tries to remove ghost blocks
• appleskin - Improves the hunger bar, example here
• Capes - Adds capes from optifine, MinecraftCapes et.c.
• Colormatic - Gives resource packs more control over color, compatible with optifine
• Lambdynamiclights - Dynamic lighting, example here
• Modmenu - Adds a menu with all the installed mods and their configs.
